If I'm not mistaken, according to a book I read about U2 this show was the second night in Sydney. The previous night Adam Clayton left the band and they had a crew member play bass. It's the only show that AC ever missed. That's why this show was so awesome. I'm pretty sure about the whole Adam

Clayton story though. I think the book is U2 at the end of the world. If I'm wrong about any of this let me know. Which I'm sure someone will if so.

I wasn't able to go to ZooTv but I I have gone to Popmart, Elevation, Vertigo and u2360. I must say, Elevation was the most intimate but U2360 blew me away! The stage is insane and its such an overwhelming sight, especially when paired with their music. So, while I cant speak to Zoo TV, which looks like it was amazing, U2360 has to be close......

I don't think he cocked it up, but yes the first 4 measures (3:40-3:45) are different from the recording. But then, so is the piano part, and the singing. That's why I go to live shows, because they're unique.
