  • You are an amazing teacher.

  • Thank you very much for these videos - they are very helpful

  • Good job sister, keep it up

    শুভেচ্ছা।

  • @engrmukut : WOW! you wrote in Bangla.. How did you do that. Amazing!

  • Alhamdulilla,i rli enjoyed 2 watch ur video.may b u born raised in uk but u knw a lot of bengali word,as well u can speak quite good.MashaAllah, just i wana make sure is it 1.Sala malikum, or 2,As sala mualikum.?

  • @r24011990 : Thanks for your encouragement. I'm not in UK.

About Salam... you're the 2nd person bringing this issue up. I'm actually quite surprised at the confusion this word brings about. Just to clarify, Arabic like many languages, have the shortcut version and the formal version. As salamu alaikum is the formal version meaning peace of God be on you.

When people say just "Salam-ualikum" = means Peace (of God) be on you. So although, (of God) is not being pronounced, it is being implied.

  • Thank you very much, i really enjoyed the video. I'm interested in learning because my boss speaks this language, but i'm having trouble with writing.

  • @bigdanny08 : Thanks for taking the time to learn. Right now I'm not teaching writing though. And there isnt much materials online about writing. However, you can buy some books.

  • Thanks for the video! I really want to learn some useful Bengali. I don't have time to read any books on it or take a class, so this is great.

  • Gr8 channel, thnx a lot dear.

I am an Arab from Dubai and I have a Bengali friend who taught me one week ago how to say "how are you" but it was different.

Now I'm confused, there are three similar words which are:

    1- bhalo achi

    2- bhalo wachi

    3- bhalo bachi

which one is correct? what does each one mean?

    & thanks a lot in advance :D

    God Bless You

  • @8Uae : Hi there. I've actually visited Dubai, Sharjah and Abu dhabi. :)

    Bhalo Achi = I'm fine

Bhalo wachi is not a word.. this is incorrect

    Bhalo bashi = Love

Thank you for helping me. it means alot Your biggest fan Armman

  • @Damascustrinity : Hi Arman.. I just stumbled upon your comment. For some reason I thought I had replied to this. STRANGE!!!!!!!!!! I cant belive you are puerto rican. Your name is totally Asian!

You really put in that much effort? WOW! Thanks a lot! But what made you start learning bangla?

    My name is spelled Sausan.

Thanks a lot for studying this language so passionately.

  • u should clear whats the meaning of salam.......salam means god bless u!

  • Lol! No one says "shubho shokal!"

  • shu provat...............ok?

  • @manobixz : ya...they're both okay... look at the conversation below.

  • hi i am new to this and i heard on the other channel they said shupru phat for good morning and over here it is something else

    whats the difference ?

  • @KaziproductionsHD : I know where you saw "Shu prophat"... they're both Good morning. Its just a different way of saying Good morning. If you think about it, even in eng, we can say the same thing in many ways eg: hi, hello, what's up..

    That's for signing up!

  • @84Enchantress wow thank you, i subscribed and your videos are awesome, do make some more

  • @KaziproductionsHD shu provat is the same as shuvo sokal.but they teach shuprovat instead of shuvo shokal becoz its easy to learn than the other

  • Is there no trill for the r in 'boro din'? That sounds like the same 'r' used in American English.

  • @SaudaraLink : Great question. It is the same "r" as used in English. That makes it a lot easier, right? :)

  • for good morning one can also say 'shu probhat'.

  • @shounak11 : Thanks for sharing that.

  • That was what I was looking for-- thanks for taking the time to organize it so well. The captions of what you were saying were particularly helpful. You make a good teacher. :)

  • @alysa90266 : why thank youuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!

  • u r not so looking some bengali girl....ny way how u learn bengali....good effort

  • @kazititu : I am a Bengali from Dhaka. This is my mother tongue.

  • im goin to bangladesh in a month and a half and so far these videos have been the best at teaching me easy phrases (considering i dont have the time to really learn the language the proper way)

    keep it up thanks

  • @fubbardfamily : Have a great trip. Wish I could go too. Thanks for your encouragement. I love it when people write to me.

  • Nice! You know I never understood how Thakur became Tagore--always wondered about that.

    Great video.

  • @rasmalai3 : same here. Takur and taore has nothing in common. Wierd!

  • @84Enchantress and neither did i understand how 'kolkata' became 'calcutta'

  • @FUCKSHIT95 kolkata became 'calcutta' coz the british pronounced it as 'calcutta'.
