I always was a fan of Steven Dane aka Steve Casey. I thought he had a lot of talent and was good worker. He really was one of the highlights of the GWF. I was hoping WCW would have signed him around this time.
Lotta Chaz stuff on here lol. As a kid I rooted for him but never really considered him to be much. Steven Dane. wow. I remember this cat too and his 1/2 Luger look(hair and the robe without the crazy muscles)
He had great intensity for someone who was relatively small-framed and really knew how to sell. I remember this match and I remember thinking that I was finally getting somewhere in my career and was given a chance to add a lot of my own input into my character as opposed to simply being told what to do.
Chaz was hugely popular in the locker room and with the management - a real committed worker.
@nwastevecasey I only knew of him from the fan perspective but I can appreciate the hardwork he put it. I just remember viewing him as the underdog almost everytime I saw him on tv. His frame was not very imposing but always rooted him on.
