I just surfed in the MSA Classic Sept 12-13th and Chad Marshall is in my age/division. This guy really surfs well, big props to him, he has malibu wired. And for all the bashers of malibu locals, they have to deal with a lot of shit on a daily basis surfing one of the most crowded and popular breaks in California. They are going to get frustrated when theres 300 goons in the line up when a good swell finally hits. I free surfed on Friday and had waves to myself and the locals were nice to me.
these guys are good surfers, but they are real bastards out in the water. They burn people hardcore and then call other people off for just riding in front of them. Props to that girl for calling him out.
There are some very friendly people at Malibu and they all share waves just fine. Theres a couple bad seeds of course but that doesn't mean much in the overall surfing community.

i love surfing, but Malibu is one of those places where many, not all, but many of the surfers out there burn anyone who isn't local.
they'll thrash you and steal ur waves, and then start fights with you.
Malibu - clean up your attitude. you all act like surf punks out there.
same for most of Orange County (including Testles)
