I think when it switches at 1:15, that is the best part and then his subsequent response to the question "Even diet?" the pause and then automatic yes. It seems as though that is an auto response by his brain, that he's not even conscious of saying that.
atm im doing a rotoscope video for my last yr of university and my other students belive i shouldn't get a grade because im rotoscoping not animating from my mind.
yeah...rotoscoping is definitely legitimate animation...takes just as much time as anything else (saying that from first-hand experience lol) and allows the artist some extra room to express concepts. your peers need to get things straight :P
Awesome. I saw this short after seeing the film Waking Life and got really interested in this sort of animation. Was this done with a Wacom tablet and some special software?
Priceless! This is beautiful. This is maybe the only thing I've seen that actually captures a glimps of what my acid trips were like. Not the whole movie, but the segments in time index 00:2401:00 and 02:19. Overall, this is amazing.
I Think this animation is great. There is much poetry in the way these drawing moves, then become more like lines, then more realistic... Really beautiful. What did you chose to put into images? Is this just a life scene, something that you took on a record and then just put into images?
That was so cool! I loved how you changed each frame while he was filling up his drink with different pop's. While you said he was an autistic teenager, I have worked with mentally retarded teens and adults that did that same sort of thing. Their view of the world is artist in itself. :) Thanks for posting this for us to see! :)
Hi, great work dude, just wondering which program/s you used and how long it took. I'm considering a rotoscoped animation soon, and just wanted to know the technical requirements.
Thanks for Putting this up, I've shared it on Facebook. You can see the shared link if you search on Facebook:
