  • his posture looks like Schroeder XDDD

  • FANTASTIC!

  • I never heard this version...Jelly Roll Morton wrote this? Or The Legend of 1900's version is the REAL Jelly Roll Morton original version?

  • where can I get the tabs??

  • does anyone have the sheets of this version?

  • Excellent interpretation. Most play this far too fast and miss the notes.

    Wonderful.

  • As always, your artistry is magnificent.-- Lois RTS News

  • its very well. because its like the original, but i prefer the verion of ennio morricone

  • Everyone who said this sucks should be severely beaten and shot. This man is an absolute genius. Even though it may differ from the 1900's version, it's still amazing!

  • awesome, dude

  • Excellent version, stayed faithful to the original.

  • slow~

  • one the fo

  • too slow!!! OUT

  • @TheOthersProd I'm afraid You should try disco section.

  • I love what you did with the dynamics in this piece, Frankfrench. Excellent! Inspirational! :)

    Ron.

  • beautiful rendition. but why does the 1900 version sound more boombastic?

  • it's very good, but I prefer the version from 'The legend of 1900'

  • I love this song. Very tasteful interpretation.

  • Well, I first heard it from the 1900 film clip. This is a different, and I guess, more original interpretation. Glad he mentioned the "spanish tinge" at the beginning. When i first heard it i thought it sounded a bit like tango,

  • Wow I didn't believe there would be so many coming on here saying this version sucks just because of what they've heard is different. This is very close to how the piece was originally meant, the 1900 film version is not. I think this is a fantastic performance, very passionate.

  • @Lortagreb I actually like this version better than the one that was used at legend of 1900. this one seems more real, as you said yourself, very passionate.

  • Very pro , nice !

  • Now this has some attitude! Nice and slow, but still beautifully syncopated. Well done. :)

  • @PeacfulJoh you are right attitude is exactly the word i was thinking about

  • a bit too slow for my taste...but verry good

  • hats off! marvellous performance: you never hide the rhythm of the bass part and the tempo is so ... just-first-century.

I'd love to play this piece too: would you send me the partition?

  • That was a great performance, really close to original 1939 piece...

  • Good job Frank the orgenal 1900 vershon rules and the legend vershon is very cool to .

  • Your chords are so stiff, you're popping off them instead of letting them resonate, and you need to drag out the trills.. It's way too jumpy..

  • He meant them to be stiff obviously, to give it attitude and whatnot. Silence is more important than reverberation in music.

  • i love this music

could you give me the sheet partition of the crave please ???

  • Hello , I saw your Comment , I have the score from Crave , if you want you can your email address write back to me and I send you the Score. Best regards.

  • Very inspiring, Frank. Like apples and oranges this rendition is very different, blockier then others, yet that allows it to have a swagger to it. Bravo, Frank!

    Ron.( ;-} >

  • i liked it very much but in the end its sounded weird. can anyone please watch my performances? thx

  • the music feels a bit stiff, maybe letting his fingers dance a bit will help.

  • I think he did it very well. his tempo was on top of it all though its a great piece to go a little faster and to put a little flavor in the left hand. I wish I had a camera.

  • so much talking, just play already!

  • Somebody had fun with the "Windows Movie Maker"

  • i like this tempo.

  • I absolutely agree, this play of the Crave really sux. No brilliancy at all. I can't reallt feel the music. It's just a set of separate technical fragments

  • omg hedoesen't play it well at all =)) sry guyz but this guy sux, or he feels the music to much =)))

  • Wow, that is beautiful! :P

  • That is sooo awesome. I spent quite a bit of time in the joint and there use to be an old man that played this song for me every time I would walk into the rec. Anyway thanks for bringing it all back for a few moments.

  • This looks like it would be alot of fun to play. I like the embellishments giving it your own flavor. Suddenly I'm craving something delicious. Thx for posting. 5*

  • A fine live performance, Frank! I hope you will soon post others.
