Marcellino xxx

  • A wonderful movie! My mother seen this at the theater in 1960 with her old 8th grade class from Saint Josef's School in North Minneapolis with some catholic nuns. The school is not there any more. My mother introduced this movie to me in 1994 on VHS and I still watch the movie once in a while. My mother died in 2002.

  • to think this actor died already makes me sad.

  • This movie is so amazing. I remember the first time I saw it on EWTN, I was completely moved by it. I could not stop thinking about it days after I had seen it. From beginning to end it does not disappoint. I am glad to see it on youtube because hopefully those who have not heard of this movie, nor seen it, can finally see it.

  • very moving, heart-warming! Am glad that it's here on you tube. clear copy. How true indeed that the Lord reveals Himself to the humble especially to a little child like Marcelino. And that made all the difference! Glory to God!

  • i saw it when i was 9-10 years old...i did understand the movie then better than now....cuz i was pure as a kid

  • one the best movies ever- i hear that this is a true story

  • I saw this film when I was 7 years old. Certainly, at the that time, I did not understand this film deeply enough, but, could not forget it! This keeps sticking to my mind.

  • You're right, Donyay3nato:

That is what God await from us... Only to recognize He is God with the simplicity of a child with no prejudices, no matter what we have done, who we are... His Love is so infinite.

  • This movie is so lovely and full of faith and spirituality. I think this is the basis of the top rating primetime show of ABS-CBN "May Bukas Pa" Marcelino and Santino are like each other. What a good reminder for us!

  • Yes, they should make subtitles for "May Bukas Pa" so that others can see what we mean. Marcelino and Santino have the same shape and emotions in their eyes don't you think?

  • do you know then who iam? yes you are GOD. i love this movie.

  • everytime i watch this scene i cry so hard. =(

    it's so beautiful and lovely..

  • I love this movie!! I saw it when I was a child and really guided my upbringing. I would like to buy this on DVD. Where did you get it? I tried Amazon, and there are a lot of choices, but I want this exact version as it is very clear. I have one on VHS and it's not a very good copy. Thank you.

  • a beautiful movie, thanks for posting!!!

  • here in the philippines there's a current tv series on abs-cbn called "may bukas pa" in english that's "there is still tomorrow" or "there is still hope", it is loosely based in this movie. it's a major success, it was suppose to run only for 8 weeks. but due to its standing on the tv ratings - which is undefeated on the number one slot - it was extended for 20 weeks and then eventually abs-cbn decided to extend it until next year...:)

  • I remember this movie with much fondness, it is a memory of my childhood.

  • I remember watching this in the Philippines. I watched this with the whole family over and over. I love this movie. I'm so happy I finally found it.

  • i'm 43 years old and i cry when i look this film

  • The power of faith. Wonderful movie.

  • I saw this movie as a very small child - 1st grade - and it made an enormous and everlastingly holy impression on me. When I went into the church at school (Catholic), I would stop alone at the life sized crucifix and touch the feet of the Corpus of Jesus in the cross. I would look up and quietly talk to Jesus as I looked into his eyes. To this day, I LOVE my dear sweet Savior so very much and he has given me so many miraculous gifts. THANK YOU DEAR JESUS!

  • This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I still remember the day I saw it first. I cried and cried and cried. It is definitely one of the most touching movies about Faith.

  • It's based on a medieval legend

  • This movie had brought so much meaning to my life even to this very day. I watched this movie when I was a little girl growing up in the orphanage. I grew up with the Franciscan nuns and also came to know the Franciscan fathers.

It brought tears to my eyes coz that was the time I felt that JESUS loves me so much.
