Totally real, totally man made. This isn't a meteor, and, it's not photo-shopped/ edited in any manner. First of all, meteors don't change trajectory, nor do they drastically change speed as this object did. Yeah, it's easy to photoshop smoke/ lightning, but it never looks good or genuine like this footage clearly does. Furthermore, the contrail of a fighter jet (which would be a logical explanation), does not descend as this one did. It's hard to say what this is but it's definitely man made.

And actually your wrong I am a video editor and I could fake this video realisticly very easily. As you said it resembles a Minotaur Rocket. All other vids of a Minotaur Rocket look exactly like this.

Projectile, flat out... The trail is a trail of a conventional jet propulsion system, and the pattern is just dissipation of the fuel spent... The reflection on the trail is either back light off the lights of the City, or from reflection off the Moon...

One would have to logically suspect this to be a test launch of rockets or, if not, a faked video at the least. Bystanders don't know where to point the camera before the event happens.
