Form was awesome and that is some nice weight! Once again, NICE form.
My ONLY complaint was that you used straps. Straps is almost like cheating because you have to rely on something to pick up the slack for your grip. If you have to use straps, then the weight is too heavy IMO. Rows and deadlifts should be done strapless IMO. That is a sign of true full body strength. The same could be said for doing squats - below parallel and without a belt.
Here we go! you tube experts..A lot of unnecessary harsh comments for this dude. Wasn't perfect, but no one is 100%. Weight training is a constant learning process, perfecting form, learning about your own body, trying new techniques, trying to improve. Great rows.......
You do the rows with belt , elbow wraps , straps and in my opinion not very strict form . Combination of all these makes your lift not so great . you are definately strong , but be stricter at form . And btw you prapare 1 min 14 s to begin the set .
Good control bro, that's alot of weight, i incorporate this workout into my training as well, i have to concentrate on keeping torso horizontal which a good challenge when you start getting up into the higher poundages, kudos bro!!!!
Thanks man! To be honest once passed the beginner stage back grows best by using heavy poundage and some cheating. Those who use perfect for with 135 will never see good back development until they grow a pair and start some real rowing. This is just my view based on my experience in the weight room.
@jonaswtf In my personal opinion a beginner stage is 1-2 years of consistent training (closer to 2). You should have decent/good form on all basic movements and you should have put on some weight on your frame. If you looking for a green light to heave ho 135 lbs around that not the right idea. Also if you have to ask what is beginners stage most likely you still a beginner. Trust me when the time is right you will know yourself when to push it.
Actually, by checking my ego at the door, my form is good enough to grow and grow big with under 200 pounds using form so good barbell rows are actually a BACK WIDTH exercise for me, not merely a back thickness one.
Believe me, growing with really light weights is advanced. The bigger you get with the lighter the weights, the more potential I believe is present. I would rather be your size or bigger with 165 on the bar. Thats just me.
@xTheFormlessOneIGF1 Growing big muscle with really light weights is a pipe dream unless you taking Anabolics. Truth of the matter all the natural "big" guys I've known were lifting heavy weight. I wish you luck though.
Anabolics are recovery agents. It stands to reason that the best stimulus for an unnatural should probably also be the best stimulus for a natural. All of the "large muscular and shapely" physiques I have seen exhibit outstanding control of the weights. Once control is learned and achieved, only then should one start thriving with progressive resistance. I believe in stimulation of muscle fibers and food absorption quality, not quantity. Respectively.
i'd rather look small but be able to lift a tonne of weight to be honest. i'm cool enough anyway though. i don't need a heaving great back / chest / arms to prove it.
I'd rather look like flex wheeler or phil heath and have healthy joints and be tear free. If you are not actually stressing the muscles, you are stressing other connective tissue and bones. If you get injured, you cant lift. IF you cant lift, you cant stay swole. If you dont lift right, you will never be swole in the first place. Be Healthy. Best regards.
@xTheFormlessOneIGF1 I agree with you about proper form but assuming phil heath or flex wheeler have healthy joints might be going a bit too far. Some AAS like stanozolol dry out your joints and can cause damage if you train like that for long periods of time. Also I doubt a lot of the pros take time for joint health, joints and tendons are among the biggest problems in bodybuilding.
@Otacon237 Probably why they dont take stanozolol. Videos of many top pros show care, caution, safe and good/effective form that actually stresses what it is they are trying to grow.
In this video, this form is not even touching the lats at all.
@xTheFormlessOneIGF1 This guy is obviously not a bodybuilder. So why would he use bodybuilding type form and dramatically reduce the amount of weight he can lift?
Remember the cup of water from jurrassic park, it was shaking and they didn't know why, well, it was becuase this guy was doing rows next to the car.
