@tictac111100 if its really bad, try a system restore. i personally would just use that with the problem you have.

@TheXBladeist do you HAVE a graphics card? or is it just really old that terraria doesnt read it. you have to remember teraria is still a NEW game, so it only reads newer graphics cards

@ScriptBuilder1000 Hmm, try uninstalling it, then installing it again. maybe the installer made a mistake by leaving out a .dll file. OR check for problems/soloutions on the terraria website

Guys if you tried everything and it still does work.

It might be because your computer/graphics card doesnt support the Direct version that terraria uses.

start>right click "My Computer">Click Properties>on the left click device manager>now click on display adapter or something related to that and tell me what it says.
