Jones may have a point here, the reason I switched my news take from the mainstream media to cyberspace is because the mainstream`s so dumbed down & sold out the governing class`s agenda that I was bored to death by it
Finding Jones when I 1st started looking around YT- even with all his craziness & irresponsibility - was a reminder of how good broadcasting can be when done with passion
I don`t need the FCC editing ideas for "quality" (= control), I`m quite capable of editing them myself.

But that's a failure to recognize the actual policy - which is that the FCC gives you a "public values" test and some bureacrats decide if you "serve the public interest" well enough to be heard on the airwaves. The proposal gives the FCC the power to REVOKE your broadcasting license if they determine that you are too "offensive", and then give it to someone who will "serve the public interest". You can't be this trusting of our government to be in favor of letting them decide who gets to express themselves on the airwaves and who doesn't. China would love to have you if you're that naiive and trusting of government.

So your saying that the government should have the right to say what can and cannot be said on the radio, tv, or on the internet, thus effectively ending free speech and freedom of the press? Yes, I know on tv one should not use fowl language or explicit/lewd images, but we as Americans have the right to say what we please, so long as it doesn't insite a riot. Yet the FCC is trying to say otherwise. Don't be a fool, open your eyes and see the truth.
