  • u ainttt beatingg lamontsss punchlinesss #

  • A dope Freestyle over a Kool G Rap instrumental... not any shit can be more fresh than that!

  • fuck ttc big l the one and one devils son

  • Another verbal drive by.....

  • this is from holdin it down - big L.

  • there's a reason why BigL is 'big' and lil wayne is 'little'

  • Big L is the fuckin bomb

  • Big L isn't underrated, because everyone who listen's thinks he's amazing, but it is true that he isn't nearly as well known as he deserves to be.

  • does anybody know if there is any videos of bigL freestyling on the street

  • @butterflypornstar Not any on youtube that I know of, but hopefully in his upcoming documentary there will be a lot of rare unseen footage of Big L. I've even heard there's footage of him freestyling with Big Pun.

  • @CreatedAccount do you no where i would be able to find videos of him cause i just want to see how much he shredded not just with audio i never had the privilege to be old enough to see this when it came out or any of his other music

  • @butterflypornstar There's a video of Big L with Lord Finesse live at The Tramps on youtube and there's a couple of videos of Big L live at amsterdam performing some songs. Along with Big L's music videos, 'Put It On', 'M.V.P' and "No Endz, No Skinz', I don't think any other videos of Big L rapping are on youtube. Big L's in the background in a couple of music videos by other rappers though.

  • @CreatedAccount is that of Big L and Big Pun freestying on youtube?

  • @ninjae4976 Unfortunately, I've heard that the footage of Big L and Big Pun is exclusively in the upcoming documentary 'Street Struck'. Not sure when that documentary's meant to be out either but look out for it because it's gonna be a good one. I'm sure once the documentary is out it will be on youtube though.

    Big L R.I.P

  • @CreatedAccount that sounds hella sick, there both legendary MC's. I look foward to the documentary :)

  • This was preceded by an add for fucking twilight. RIP Big L, the world you left behind has since deteriorated greatly

  • shut up u faggots . who cares if it is a freestyle or not . shut up and listent to the gangster

  • YO ITS AMAZIN L IS BLAZIN ALWAYZ BEEN BEFORE I PUT THE BRAIDS IN I USED TO LET WAIVES SPIN..... R.I.P BIG L

  • This is not a freestyle

  • @100101010101010100 Why do you say that?

  • @100101010101010100 Hey, the film 8mile film might have given you the impression that every freestyle was straight off the dome. But in fact, freestyles on the radio were often a compilation of verses that rappers knew were safe bets to get them noticed. It was all about exposure.

You gotta remember this was before then internet became what it is today, you couldn't hear a man's discography on youtube. Very few rappers freestyled in the way people think freestyling is defined.

  • @TheNotoriousTOM No... rappers that i know and do real freestyles gave me the impression of what freestyling is. Piecing strings of prewritten lyrics together is not a freestyle its called a rap song. Freestyle rap is off the dome on the spot lyrics.

  • @100101010101010100 No that's the definition TODAY between you and the rappers you know. Fact is, these were still called freestyles and that's what they are. It was smoke in mirrors, the majority of the people tuning into this back in the day had never heard this.

Listen to the rappers you know more, you'll notice patterns. There isn't one rapper in existence that has never repeated material in a freestyle, one way or another.

  • @TheNotoriousTOM This is not a freestyle genius. The entire thing is scripted.... In other words the opposite of a freestyle.

  • @100101010101010100 I made several clear points on how that isn't the ONLY version of freestyle throughout rap history and you respond with that... Well I just won't bother next time.

  • @100101010101010100 this is a freestyle, freestyle can be scripted they don't have to be off the dome all the time?

  • @100101010101010100 You know what a freestyle is? Its not spitting blindly from the top of the dome, its a free style, its just spitting whatever without a theme - just nice verses and punchlines.

What you talk about hardly exist - they all got these lines prepared in their head, and if you are stupid enough to buy into the illusion - you deserve it.

  • @100101010101010100 Oh and "freestyle" didn't just refer to the rappers lyrics on the radio, it also meant that rapper would spit to beats not on their label or just a beat they liked. It was like they were chilling. And using written lyrics wasn't a big deal. Are you telling me this gets old?

  • ? thats not the halftime beat but L did his thing

  • @lwil2 I think it's the name of the radio show. Not just that this is also why he repeats some lines because the net wasn't around. So how are you gonna get some ill ass rap around? Go on different radio shows and spit it again.

  • @bertin786 i know the entire lyrics of some songs by heart, so when i rap them to you without reading them is it a freestyle?

  • @bertin786 really? then every time rappers are on stage they must be freestyling because they dont read lyrics right? man thats crap! freestyle MEANS rappin what comes from ur head. ofcourse people use bricks of lyrics they wrote down before to keep it fluent...but if this guy can tell every second word of L's freestyle , then he at least did the same before so he knows. But when this was recorded it was no real freestyle anymore. Not saying Big L was not the KING, he was!

  • @DeeJayDeeKay he used his freestyles as songs, not songs as freestyles.

  • @DeeJayDeeKay freestyling is basicly spit shit on paper and recite it, not just off the dome

For instence you get a insperation so you right down some lyrics, thats freestyle.

  • @MUJAHID56787 a freestyle is a song free of style no story bro, off the dome is made up on the spot and spat.

  • @coolbboymatt yeah man, thats was what i was trying to elaborate but failed haha.

  • yo this is dope no doubt ... but its not really freestyled, do u hear the guy in the background backup him like on stage ?

  • @DeeJayDeeKay a freestyle doesnt mean rappin wat comes to your head...it means rapping without reading lyrics...most people that freestyle memorize there lyrics

  • u really have to be a faget to "dislike" a video cause i dont even take the time to "like" a video when i do actually like it

  • any one know where i can get the beat?

  • tupac sucked big l for life

  • i think jay-z killed :L. think about the timing of his death snd jay-z 's come up.

  • @frazier618 i dont think he killed him but i think he took all of big Ls unrealeased raps. cause all the sudden he became a great rapper after l died some of his lines even sounds like somethin L would write ( R.I.P L your the man)

  • @trev3050 Jay Z would definately be nobody without L influence on him.

  • @con1633 jay z should not be nobody anyways

  • @con1633 jay-z was suppose to sign to Flamboyant records, it makes me wonder wat itd be like now if big l wuda never died!

  • @con1633 jay z aint nobody now fuck him KILLUMINATI!

  • @con1633 fuck J why have i never heard him shout out to L? correct me if im wrong.......

  • @MR469 go to youtube and listen to jay-z top 5 rappers he does not mention L.

  • @con1633 Cut it out!

  • @con1633 jay would never be shit if it wasnt for big l, nas, biggie, and pac. dudes always been shining off other peoples shit

  • @con1633 You mean Wu-Tang,Nas,Biggie,Tupac,then L .

  • @SamFisheristheshit no ..he at least shouts those rappers out..L was influential on him for real..one of Jays first shine was when he was on the freestyle with L, and he refuses to mention him...RIP L the greatest!

  • @con1633 lol what influence?.... JayZ is pure crap.... Big L is a dead kidd.... I dont get it, no similarity in styles or energy

  • @con1633 jay was in the game sense 1989 wat do u mean

  • @con1633 jay was rappin sense 1989 wat do u mean

  • @bertin786 yea but he still wack.. nuff said

  • @Notsofmzo his first album "reasonable doubts" is 1 of the top 10 albums of all time u just dont understand his concept

  • @bertin786 yo how the fuck you compare sales with talent that's like saying a Chevy's better than A Benz cause of the sales

  • @Notsofmzo im not his album was rated by its songs and quality not sales....hear his old shit like his unreleased songs from 1990....big l wasnt out yet.

  • wow created account thats some real shit to say

  • @wavyboypete134 halftime- nas

  • @MrCommenterguy Nah It's Not Nas Halftime

  • LEGENDARY

  • yo he is too nice ive heard of him but never really listened to him.

  • what beat is this

  • @detroitMC313- no. I'm saying L is a far more talented rapper. If someone asked me to define tupac, i wouldn't say 'a rapper', but a man trying to change society through rapping. However he often didn't stick to point, on one hand he would say 'it's time to love each other', then he would talk about bitches and killing and thugs.

  • @detroitMC313- no. I'm saying L is a much more skilled rapper. If someone asked me to define PAC '

  • This beat is killer... Anyone know what it is??

  • Big L=Legend

  • lol, replied to the wrong person- @accursedheretic

  • @Treantbiz- Tupac was a revolutionist for black culture. but big L was a far more talented rapper, we would destroy MOST in a battle.

  • @MrCommenterguy So are you saying that beating someone in a battle takes more skills/talent then to be a "Revolusionst for Black Culture"???

  • @Treantbiz- 1) never ever compare L to weezy, that acctually pissed me off.

    2) Big L managed to release 1 and a half ( he didnt finish the big picture) and a few freestyles before he was shot dead. He was an upcomming emcee, like most up comming emcee's he rapped about the only thing he knew about : street life. violence, sex, drugs etc. Just because it isnt excactly a 'ghetto gospel' or 'changes' doesnt mean it doesnt have fucking meaning.

  • @MrCommenterguy Lol FUCK weezy, he aint shit compared to Big L.

  • @MrCommenterguy but he also came out with some of those kinds of tracks is what you cant forget.

  • stop wit the nonsense and get back 2 the music yo 4 real

    rip big l

    rip 2pac

    they both legends

  • @Treantbiz

also he got shot 9 times.

& it was in fact directed for payback cuz his brother was locked up

at the time L got shot dumbass. than got shot 2 years later when he got out on the same block. learn some shit homie or just dont open your mouf.
