BFBC2 is the best shooter of all time, hands down. i thought bf3 was going to be even better, but i was sadly disappointed. perhaps i had too high of an expectation but im not having that much fun in bf3 like i did in bfbc2. i hope the updates can change that. it feels like it does not reward the skilled player as much. burst firing does not give you an advantage at times. guns are unbalanced. voice chat broken on psn. non destructible mcoms promotes c4 spamming even after death, wtf? cmon dice

A few weeks after BF3 was out there were nearly no BC2 servers... As I wanted to play Arica Conquest there were only 2 full HARDCORE (hate it) servers with 12 people... pure sadness! But today I tried to play and it was like a late christmas present, more than enought servers and in europa! THX Santa! Happy new year you all BC2 players, good luck and have fun! p.s. 1 thing to hate on bf3 is.... they said OOOoooOOO Frostbite 2.0 engine more destruction etc..... sure blowind wall up looks cooler now, but meaby overall 3-4 buildings can be demolished totally in all bf3 maps combined, in bc2 ALL building came down.

I love BF3, but imo:

BC2 - based on pure gun/equipment/vehicle skill. Good player can still win with randoms.

BF3 - the in-between bits like animations for going in/out of prone, vaulting etc, take away from that skill slightly, but very noticeably... Almost impossible to win with randoms.

ill still play the shit outta BF3, but BC2 will always hold a very special place in my fps heart, got more memorable moments from that game than all other shooters combined.

@cheesebuyer its not bad but the maps were better and had more varaity in bc2 bf3 haves only desert and urban maps which gets boring fast...bc2 had snow, desert,jungles, and semi urban villages. most of the maps in bf3 feel like they are to small especially in rush mode...i hope they make snow maps for a future dlc in bf3 and jungles

@HArDNUCkL3S I disagree. It is true that BC2's maps had more variety when it comes to environments and BF3 doesn't so you're right on that part. But the layout on BF3's maps feel different. Some maps are more hilly and open, while other maps are clustered together with buildings and it changes up the gameplay a lot. So I don't think the game got boring because of the maps.

The reason BF3 is dead is braces to many cod players came, it was too easy for them, not like other BFs which are hard to get used to, it's easy to sit in corners because unlike BC2 you can hardly destroy anything so the corner is safe to sit in, daly ores NEVER in a BF should those be there they are just a blessing to COD Gits and finally lock on rockets which take no skil to use air to air or ground to air they are still unfair, not to mention the spawns which are terrible!! @Kulopto BF3 has many good points but what I really loved about BFBC2 is the maps, all of them are awesome and so well thought out, but in BF3 I feel like they concentrated so much on the physics and graphics of the game that they didnt put as much effort into the maps. They only two maps in my opinion that come close to BFBC2's maps are KHARG ISLAND and OPERATION METRO.
