my laptop was stolen today in a bus station. i was sitting down with a few bags at my feet and when i got up to go i realized it was gone so i told the security guard and he called the police and they looked at the cctv and saw him take it and i am now waiting for them to catch him hopefully. you really cant leave anything out of your site. you almost have to cling on to your stuff.

This is the reason when I get my new laptop I am going to install software such a GadgetTrak, that can find out where the computer is and even wipe any sensitive files from the computer. It will prevent the harddrive from being reformatted. Some software avail for Macs even can send a webcam video of the culprits to your email.
