  • Thank you, recession, for bringing us a global social movement. It's called Occupy Wall Street.

  • best episode ever!!

  • thank you recession for ruining my credit ! I now have more money in savings than i ever did!

  • Hard times might have to happen in the US, first; before these innovative ideas take precedent.

Remove the economic theories of capitalist, socialist, etc...for a realist economic framework.

  • you start doing some of that "collective" shit and the motherF#&@^s in the U.S. start calling you a socialist, Marxist, communist, fascist

  • 19:36 I just checked the Recession Clothing website. Their prices aren't anything I would call reasonable weather we're in a recession or not! I would expect to find these prices at a high end department store. For example, $18 for 1 pair of women's panties.

  • @JustForKhadijah do you know how to spell?

  • @klems002 OMG! Is that the worst thing you can find about my comment??? LOL! You are so funny!

  • "Thank you recession for being the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. Helped me say goodbye to Stupidville forever"

    ----Escape from America

  • 8:45 "Hey, everybody, rob me, I just told 13,000 people on YouTube I keep ALL my cash in my house".

  • Diamonds are a joke, worthless. When a jeweler tells you a diamond is worth 10k usd,, ask him if he will buy yours for 10k. Watch him backpeddle.

  • It's because of all the dirty mexicans and jews, tell to go ba....oops, sorry, wrong thread.

  • I love them showing all the jews in Beverly Hills who are lending money to people in distress.

  • thanks Obama for change! *sarcasm*

  • "So this is worth 30"

"Thats about what the engagement was worth"

I really don't see how that was a witty remark?

  • I see people who are in debt who have sattelite TV! If you are smart you will live on bare essentials until you actually have the money to buy luxuries.

  • @IamaRifle I totally agree. I live on the barest of basics. I only have internet because I am going to school. I don't have television, I use the library I cook most of my meals and I budget. I don't make a lot of possessions or a lot of money, but I am paying my bills.

  • @sadistickitty1977 You are a great American example and all students should follow your example.

  • The problem is that here in America we dont learn. We are trying to get out of this stupid war and we already have the GOP suggesting to attack Iran. Financial Institutions run the white house. Did Argentina bailout their banks? I am personally doing something about it and that is I dont have credit and I dont plan on having any credit in the future. The US wants every single american to be on debt. I just bought a cheap car cash and what is my debt? Zero, cero, nada. F the system.

  • a true testament to the FREE MARKET!

  • I never wanted a comfortable life anyway.

  • It always takes a war or a recession for people to appreciate what they have.Recession made me cut my credit cards for good and I couldnt be happier!!Thank you RECESSION!!!

  • @hazellina07

The Recession is going to make me get healthier by biking or walking more than driving, cause gas is expensive! Hooray for the Recession! :D

  • @RedFlower26 LOL!!!Great for u

  • @TheBossing09 no they just come here illegally and live off of our system. MY tax dollars pay for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

  • @sadistickitty1977 lol Idiot.

  • @Sickseveneight moron

  • If you want to prevent that what happened to people in Argentina, you should invest in real money like silver.

  • i bet alot of rich people/owners in the US would hate if their workers take over. That would be the end of the world to them if the workers realize they dont need an owner to operation the factories....no no no.

  • I want a job at the candy factory-- ice cream meetings? sign me up

  • hahaha, this basically says people are poor there!!

  • I think the government should inform the public the benefits of saving. However, the government would be a Hippocrates because the gov. spends a shit load more than it has. Nonetheless people should start saving again.

  • Vanguard brings the best documentaries of today!

  • i like the idea of trading things off for either labor or food or necessities

  • Thank you Recession for reminding me that I'm a Gardener : )

  • @Kymimom lol!!!

  • We should do as the people in Venezuela did

    ge

a bolivarian revolution , Capitalism is not working , we need change , to a better society , the economical neo-liberal model is not working .

Viva Chavez , the only way to save the humanity from disaster

  • @odinheim your joking right?

  • @buzwazfuz No I don't we believe that the impossible is possible

    hasta le victoria siempre

Viva Chavez , Viva Che Guevara

  • they should sent the chinese there they will wipe the country into shape

  • Our middle class has been dying slowly since the mid 70's. What's happening with outsourcing, death of labor unions, globalization are, unfortunately inevitable. We can get mad, protest, jump up and down... and it's still inevitable. Even the bastions of "People's Revolution" and Communism (not good options anyway) are failed and becoming ultra capitalists like China. Once we accept our much lowered standard of living we WILL survive and be OK. Say good bye to 1955 forever...

  • @randy95023

China has a Social Market Economy. So it still had the advantage of socialism.

  • @randy95023 How much lower?

  • thank you recession for bringing me back my family :]

  • you're supposed to give an engagement ring back... this footage can be used in court to sue to get compensation for his 3 months salary investment back. ive seen it happen.

  • will all you people stop pointing fingers and just accept that this is not a politically motivated video?

  • It's a recession, let's have wine.

  • i wonder why they haven't said anything about distrust for local currency peso in Argentine... from report we saw that in Argentine all saving were in dollars, and applies to all over the world.

imho they should explore this, more, if they have not done that yet.

Also, explore export of US inflation to other parts of the developing world.

  • I've been talking about Argentina for years, fat Americans don't give a fuck...they have no clue. They think it's a 3rd world communist shithole. Little do they know, it was one of the most prosperous capitalist democracies in South America, with a huge middle class, screwed over by the moneyed interests. Our answer is to set up camps and start loading up bankers.

  • They make Argentina look wayyyyy better than it really is. Go to some other province and you'll see how shitty it really is.

  • lol this is awesome. i went to argentina and came back in recession freakout mode.

  • this has inspired me to take all my money out the fucking bank. who needs them anyway

  • Just the world. Nothing much.

  • yea man angry has a point, its kind of the way the world works, resessions have happened before and nearly every 20 years or so in the states. we go up and down its the way things are

  • the dollar is risky like stocks though. i got some brazilian and swiss cash on hand.

  • What a novel idea: paying cash for big-ticket items! Instead of spending money you do not have, you spend what you can afford (none of this paying for your house for 30 years when you won't even live in the house that long). Credit has gotten way out of hand in North America.

  • @mixxycan How are you supposed to have at least 100,000 dollars at once for a decent home? Most things including cars are so expensive now that most people have to pay on them by the month.

  • @fashionhistorylover no one makes you buy a home that you HAVE to pay over time. This just tells you that you live in a society where you HAVE to have debt by buying things you can't reasonably afford. Go to smaller countries, you'll see that a family of 5 DOESN"T need a home with 4 bedroom, 3 baths, etc. Our Economy thrives, well more like "thrived" now, on borrowed spendings, or future income spending.

  • @kryptoniterxn117 Even if you rent a home or an apartment you still pay rent every month. Yes people can try to buy a car for cash but a home is almost impossible unless you buy one in the ghetto.

  • @mixxycan Yeah, growing up, all I ever heard around me was pretty much "you HAVE to set up long term payments for something you don't have the money for!". When I got to where I started to buy things for myself, some of my family members scoffed at the idea of saving up money for a house. It bothers me to no end that it has become a way of life in the U.S.

  • This is totally off topic, but I could listen to Argentinian people talk all day long. One of the most beautiful accents anywhere.

  • How is saying that someone has a beautiful accent ignorant? Did you even read the full comment or did you just stop at "Argentinian" and make an assumption??

Try breaking out a dictionary and looking up the meaning of "beautiful".

  • She misspoke on her opening statement. Argentina had a hyperinflationary depression not a RECESSION.

  • Thankyou Recession for making me grown my own Marijuana instead of getting it from a middle man :D

  • i hate being a student with no job. god damnn it. i cant pay for rent!!!

  • I think a lot of us are going to have to lower our financial expectations, as far as what life has to offer.

  • YOUR RIGHT!! i never said this before, BUT I HATE BEING BLACK RIGHT NOW.

    CANT GET A JOB ANYWHERE!!

    LIFE SUX.

  • What does being black have to do with anything? I am black and so is my wife and we are both employed. These are bad times for everyone, regardless of race.

  • i hop that the employer think the way you are thinking. god i need money!!!

  • Your right!! Race has nothing to do with this! People white, black, brown, red and multi-colored are on their backs all over the country. Including my white college degree holding ass up here in North Texas!

  • Sorry to hear that man. I hope you find something soon.

  • before when it was good i couldn't legally work now i can it happens in the recession they laid off 4 people my luck

  • Wait...where was the second installment? I thought the first was Lost Vegas, or did I just get that wrong and can't find the second(or first) video?

  • @saikasha712 me too! wish i knew what videos to watch and in what order.

  • a VERY good story

  • Wow, very interesting and informative thank you!

  • Nice stories. Kinda' relates to my people's attitude towards life: Whenever you get a bad day, just laugh it out with your buddies.

  • o well done my friend !

  • And who bought the Argentinian government & caused the great suffering?

    Citibank!

And who got bailed out in the USA the other day

    Citibank!

Americans have the government they deserve!

  • Nobody deserves to suffer like this. Americans are not the evil, The idea of Capitalism, aka, the ones with the cash give the orders, is the cause. Those willing to do anything for more money, do anything for more money, and those who aren't willing to hurt/steal are left behind.

You can either take the moral, or economic high ground. But, unfortunately, Capitalism is much easier for people to live in and control than Socialism, safer than Despotism, and more comfortable than Fashism.

  • Wrong, the cause is not capitalism. The cause is cheap money with low interest rate for too long. The finger should be pointed at the Federal Reserve and even the government for not taking action against the fed.

  • Well said patremb... but too many people are relying on the mainstream media for their information rather than doing their own research.

    Audit the Fed!

  • And who was president?who had the majority from 1994-2006?I know the republicans.

  • Market Socialism is a better system than Capitalism- by far , Got no problem with people being wealthy, but the super rich have to pay-one way or another. their greed put us here .

  • thats the dumbest thing iv read in my life esp the " super rich have to pay-one way or another. their greed put us here" part why do they need to pay for your lazy ass who do not want to go and get better education before the recession why do they have to pay for people who were lazy as hell in school and why should the super rich people pay for idiots who don't know how to control their spending habits. what you and many other people want is an easy way out of your problems.

  • ...you mean Fascism.

And there's nothing wrong with wanting to keep money you worked to make.

    Capitalists are not thieves.

  • Touching stories

  • omfg awesome
