you made me cry, your wonderful ability to play that instrument like it came from heaven, got my head full of nostalgic memories when i used to play this game every sunday with my beloved grandad (he died one year after that),thank you, you made my day
Wow, that is so pretty! Some of the sounds in the background really remind me of "A Strange Device" by Emilie Autumn. It's not spam, it just reminds me of those sounds and I like it. But the songs have totally different feels. This is so calming.
anyone ever tried using a guitar mixing pedal to get different sounds out of the theremin? Seems like it would work but I havn't seen any videos that try it!
Excellent video. That game's soundtrack is one of my favorites :) I just purchased my etherwave and it should arrive soon. Once I get Charles' Martin's patch up, things should start to get pretty awesome :D
Theremin: invented in 1920 by a russian physicist (Sp?) You play it without touching, and the interference of your hands moving around the antennae akter the pitch and volume. Closer to the loop makes it quieter, closer to the rod makes the pitch higher. Google it for more info.
That's interesting, Ming. I've also looked up alot of music done on the Theremin and alot of it is very beautiful. People should take some time to check them out.
Simply wonderful! It makes me reminding my childhood... when I was playing Donkey Kong Land... In this performance you've been able to create a really peaceful atmosphere, very close to the original soundtrack! Great!
