Everything from the instrumentation, to the lyrics, to the vocals all add up and create the atmosphere this song is trying to go for, and quite frankly, it's relieving to hear a song with Mille screaming "I WANT TO KILL YOU!" It helps vent anger.

If you want "immature lyrics for a band that has been around", go look at Cannibal Corpse rehashing the same shit every two years.

Because lets face it, most thrash acts followed Metallica's blueprint in the late 80's. When Metallica started getting pseudo progressive other bands followed suit. Many did it better than Metallica, but they were a huge influence.
