Corella Ballet performed to great acclaim in September and proved enthusiastic audiences exist for classical ballet in Spain. I am sure they will do as well in July 2009 at the Liceu in Barcelona.

The footage is from the Teatro Real's recordings of Corella Ballet's performances September 2008. Gillian Murphy danced Gamzatti opening night. Kazuko Omori danced Nikiya on the final night. I'm glad I have better angles.

gillian murphy isnt in this video... the dancer is adiarys almeida.

Correct, in this video excerpt Gamzatti is danced by Adiarys Almeida. I was present at all Madrid performances and was aware of the casting, which is all I was referring to above. I am sorry if I offended anyone.
