Well, possibly the reason it comes across like that is because we strive, as a band, not to play any piece of music the same ever, , therefore the whole solo is really improvised on the spot . My main focus during the solo is timing and musicality.If we performed 20 times that night, I would have got into a boring routine of "safe" fills and no excitement, which is what the band strives to achieve.
