  • i knew you were canadian when you said arms at :16

  • I have really long arms, is it natural that my elbows flay out slightly more than yours do?

  • im 17. records 61.

  • i fucking love dips!!!

  • If you're just starting out and dips are a bit hard, you can attach a band to the bars, and stand on it to take some of your weight.

  • i'm 15 years old, 56 kg and my record is 30 dips

  • @vicleep And ?

  • @vicleep i'm 15 years old, 80 kg and my record is 120 dips..

  • @michelineke ¿in a row? YES SURE!

  • @vicleep well done, KEEP GOING!!!

  • oh! I can't do this exercise! it's difficult for me!!

  • @lollipopluxury69 YES YOU CAN! stand in a chair, and just go down slow whith your arms. Do just one rep. then rest one min, and do another one until six. Monday, wen. and friday. After two weeks try to go up and down one rep and rest (as before) . Listen to your body, it´ll tell you when you can go for two reps, 3, 4,etc. This is the hard part, after that you´ll love it.

  • In my opinion..half weight dips...chicken workout...full motion means full strength....you may sore...but you will get stronger as well

  • practice makes perfect! when i was in 9th grade i could only do 6 but after i went to the gym i now can do 30 max. im in 10th grade now

  • im 13 only and im drug-free and I can do a weighted dip with 100lbs added to my harness at 201lbs bodyweight myself with absolute perfect form and full depth. :)

  • @13andincrediblycutt bull shit.

  • @13andincrediblycutt HAHAHHAHAHA 13 YEAR OLD DRUG FREE I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF

  • You should try to avoid locking your elbows.

  • @GorterPoss No, locking your elbows makes your joints stronger by consistent adaption to stress.

  • @13andincrediblycut Are you sure? Perhaps if you make sure to avoid making the joints bear undue weight or force.

  • @GorterPoss Huh?

  • impresionant...but....

he does not go all the way down

he did not pause at the bottom.....which....make it even harder.....

  • @bajobaritonoAH he also doessn't slow down when he goes down which makes it harder

  • Take the Dip King Challenge at Konkura.com

  • erms

  • take the dip challenge @ konkura.com

  • is this for triceps or for chest? or is there a slight difference that lets it work tricep and chest?

  • @shingshonn the triceps but u could use for the chest

  • YOUR ERMS

  • @FoeEazy LOL

  • Thanks! Now I have something to do other than pushups and bench press and flys (im emphasizing on building my pecs, then triceps and top back of my shoulder, then biceps). Any other tips? Like food and other wrok out routines?

  • possible to do weighted dips?

  • @therealorberon 40sec to 50sec he explains that.

  • what are the best dip bars?

  • dang ur freaking jacked, u do them with ease

  • your nice

  • Dude, thanks for showing me this. I'm totally excited about being able to do this right.

  • i thought this works triceps.

  • Hmm...yes this is the tricep dips. His body is straight but it works your pec as well. If you want to put more emphasis on your pecs then you must lean forward as you descend. Works your delt great too.

  • @UnseenKhaos

It does. It also works other muscle groups as synergistic.

  • @UnseenKhaos Nay...when your legs are pulled back like that, this works out the miceps (chest muscles)

if your want to work your biceps, make your legs straight

  • @UnseenKhaos it does.

  • @UnseenKhaos actually it can work chest and shoulders. it all depends on width of the grip and the position or "angle" of the elbows while performing the exercise.

  • @UnseenKhaos Dip could be considered the upper body squat exactly because it works so many muscles with such high muscle activation. Generally movements that only work 1 muscle are useless if not even non-existent.

  • @UnseenKhaos dumbass

  • @UnseenKhaos does that also

  • @UnseenKhaos It works the triceps, but works the chest more if you lean forward a little. works both well though

  • is this for chest chest dip?

  • yeah it is Just keep a narrow grip and try to keep a straight back. If you lean and have a wider grip you will be working the delts more.
