mark kavanagh used to play this in his Olympic and Ormonde Multi Media days, great classic, not many people would know this one. fair play mark cant wait for the reunion next year, great...
Ah finally, this track has been stuck in me head for a very long time, is der any way of getting any of these tracks on to me ipod, they are impossible to get any where
I've been loving this song since I heard Sven Vaeth playing it. Almost 15 years ago, and it is still not out of ages. So you better get ready... Best cover of Laurie's classic in my opinion
I have this, it samples "Oh Superman" by Laurie Anderson from 1981. This 1994 release very strange record too, its single sided. The A side has a non-uniform groove spacing so the needled moves around quite a bit. At the very end (at the centre of the record) it has a repeating infinite loop. The other side has a rubber finished and is engraved with the logo. Very cool.
I remember first hearing this played by Tim Hannigan (Sound crowd) on Sunset FM (or was it Rhythm FM then?).

a chugging, pulsing acid rework of o superman -sounds- like the best thing ever, but then it happens and it pretty much -is- the best thing ever.

Aahhh - Sunset FM was where I first heard this one too. (and I hadn't heard it since, till it popped up on YT) Class tune - brings back the memories.

Unreal!
I have searched for this song since I first heard it on Groove Radio back in 94.
I made a tape of the show and still have it!
Talk about rare.
This is the first time Ive actually heard the entire thing from start to finish.
Copies of the "12 have started popping up on discog but too rich for my blood. Plus Id have to buy a record player.
Great post. Many thanks.
Brings back memories.
