I think I did that before. I THINK I befriended the smaller species first, then the epic was kind to me, he stared at me, thudded his feet, then waved. Sadly, he flew away too fast and then I completed creature stage: I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU, EPIC ANTILLO!

There actually is a certain type of glitch that happens VERY rarely where a rouge creature in your pack dies and becomes an epic. This might not be true but it was on a site FOR spore so they ought to have valid information.

i know what happened here. if you ally with an epics normal species, than it will usually be friendly with you. also, very rarely, if u make an epics species extinct, it will be afraid of you and react scared.
