Last semester , I was working very hard to get A+ in physics. I attended every class and went to see the teacher everytime he gave time in his office. I ended up having 83% which is the equivalent of an A- but to my great suprise my teacher gave me an A in my report card ... just to show how teachers really care for student efforts.
If I get all average a's at the end of the year I get an iPhone 4s god if I don't get them a's I will kill myself I want an iPhone so freaking bad oh and btw I'm in 5th grade :D

@xSavvygirlx If you're having trouble in school, try doing daily tasks that is related to those subjects. For example, you can enhance your grammar and punctuation skills by typing comments in Youtube in the right syntax, depending on what language you are using. Also, ask your teacher or someone that you personally know for help or private tutoring. I wouldn't recommend asking a stranger on the internet for help.

@TheSuhisabeast90 This is extremely annoying but COMPLETELY worth it. Write cornell notes in class at least 4 times a week and study them for 3 minutes that day after school, then 5 the next week, 10 3 weeks from that day, and 15 minutes a month after. I was getting d's and I am getting A's and B+'s now! :D

Next who gives a fuck if other kids are doing better than you or not what matters most about a human is not the grades they earn its how well they treat others and behaviors and attitude. If you cant get all A's and you still have B's your good to go for most part. I say just keep studying your best and ask your teachers for help after school or even in the morning. Good teachers help those who understand late.

actually neatness does count. our school has a teacher so strict that if you dont write as neat as she wants it to be(has to be in cursive), she throws away your paper. I usually get A's in writing, but I cant be sure Ill survive writing this year.

Also one thing that really helped me was, If I know I'm going to have a difficult class in the future, I'll buy a for dummies book on the subject. I'll read it like a novel then when it comes time to take the class, whatever I read comes back to me. Maybe it might work for you too.
I applied to UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside but I really want to get into UCLA. My GPA is a 3.2 and I know it's very low. My alternative is to go to a community college and transfer to (hopefully) UCLA. I need to step up my game when it comes to school. CC is going to be my last chance at getting into UCLA.

what motivates me to get straigh a's is to, like mentioned in the video, to ask the teacher how you can bring up you grades. Warning! you must do this either in the begining, or the middle of the cycle! This will give your teacher sorta something tobe proud of and of course she will chill you down and tell you whatto study to bring up your grades. You should also remember that you should also act good at home, and at school, because it will make youfeel new and clean.
I believe that anyone could acheive straight-A's. In my public middle school, I was quite the slacker--never really doing homework or studying, acheiving A's and B's. But, when high school came around I studied my hardest and, in freshman year, I was ranked #5 in my class. I'm starting to slack again sophomore year... I'll just have to remind myself of my goals. The point is: BELIEVE IN YOURSELF--give up watching that extra hour of television--LOVE YOURSELF, and BE YOURSELF!!
What my issue is is that im a freshman in high school and in the lower classes (algebra 1A, english 1) and i really need the help, but my biggest problem is that 95% of the class is filled with people who dont actually need the help, they are just lazy and talkative. Well what sucks is that my health teacher takes points off for everything I do... I got a zero(test grade) for bringing In a note book Instead of loose leaf paper and a zero for not bringing in a pencil(test grade) though when I do bring in a pencil I don't get a 100 test grade? Also she thinks I smoke weed... I dont... I just look like someone who does. I hate her with a passion because she is such a bitch... I got a 60 on a test because I missed 1! Out of 10! Problems. Bad math much? Fml

I have a tip that always helps me study for tests,Tell your mom or your dad to take away all your fun things like TV,PS3,guitar whatever just do it and you wont have distractions when your studying

Agreed. I'm always focused on gaming or other people while in class, Ps3 just get's in the way, and is an addiction in a small plastic foreign casing. Also Facebook screws me over.

Also one thing that really helped me was, If I know I'm going to have a difficult class in the future, I'll buy a for dummies book on the subject. I'll read it like a novel then when it comes time to take the class, whatever I read comes back to me. Maybe it might work for you too.

I applied to UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside but I really want to get into UCLA. My GPA is a 3.2 and I know it's very low. My alternative is to go to a community college and transfer to (hopefully) UCLA. I need to step up my game when it comes to school. CC is going to be my last chance at getting into UCLA.
Your video was very helpful. Can you help me with tips to being more motivated to do well? I fear that I may become lazy during CC and end up failing! :( help me please!

In my school we have some days then we must go from one class to another on 5 mintues. Imagine how hard that was the first day..
Second Language after that 5 minutes to go to the lockers and grab your book and go to the next class!
But now I'm used to it :)

@MaTemplarHomie im not the video guy but i have the same problem.lol i currently have relized that black ops is so addicting that it fucks over ur grades and if u are capable(any one is capable,its just the lazy feeling that u get)of getting straight A's then all u need to do is unplug the cable off of ur wall,detach the xbox and put it in your room for awhile.then get self motivated(I know it sounds nerdy but who gives a fuck) and then empty out your back pack.thenget organised and just do it!

what motivates me to get straigh a's is to, like mentioned in the video, to ask the teacher how you can bring up you grades. Warning! you must do this either in the begining, or the middle of the cycle! This will give your teacher sorta something tobe proud of and of course she will chill you down and tell you whatto study to bring up your grades. You should also remember that you should also act good at home, and at school, because it will make youfeel new and clean.

I believe that anyone could acheive straight-A's. In my public middle school, I was quite the slacker--never really doing homework or studying, acheiving A's and B's. But, when high school came around I studied my hardest and, in freshman year, I was ranked #5 in my class. I'm starting to slack again sophomore year... I'll just have to remind myself of my goals. The point is: BELIEVE IN YOURSELF--give up watching that extra hour of television--LOVE YOURSELF, and BE YOURSELF!!

What my issue is is that im a freshman in high school and in the lower classes (algebra 1A, english 1) and i really need the help, but my biggest problem is that 95% of the class is filled with people who dont actually need the help, they are just lazy and talkative. They talk alot and disrupt my learning and i dont know what to do.....when the teacher tells them to be quiet, they dont....they just talk and talk and talk......someone please help
