Gregory Peck is like the Big Three in the 70's and 80's, i.e. they did not listen to the demand of the market and the Japanese did, and what happened? They lost market share. So what do the corporate bureaucrats do? They say "we have a responsibility to the people". Well, yes you do...you should have managed the company better so that the people to whom you feel responsible would not be sold down the river. Instead, they plead for bailout money (sound familiar?)
The problem is most people have no standing or an understanding and so anyone with any standing automatically stands over them. Stand for something and you can't be knocked down unless you give in to your fears

The plea for your money just like the perverted world of the moochers in Ayn Rand'
s books The Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged. Sounds good but ignores reality.

Atlas Shrugged! I loved this movie, and watched while reading Atlas Shrugged. Dani Devito was awesome!

I meant to mark you up. Not down. Sorry.
You're 100% right. The way of moochers completely ignores reality. Rand displayed that perfectly.
