Well I'm sure they are all real, and this being an open air concert, they may very well all be hooked up. They normally use a number adequate for the stage size with an extra one for back up purposes. Yngwie has been known to use one head and one cabinet which have been stripped for the purpose of distruction at the end of the show and to throw into the audiance.
Most bands use dummy amps on stage cuz it looks impressive.. But I wouldn't put it past Yngwie to make damn sure they're all hooked up and cranked up to 11 lol

I saw him in the 80s when I was a kid. I was really impressed. Then I saw him in 03 or 04 and I it was unbearable. He was way way too loud for the club and I'm not sure if he actually played a single song. It was an endless barrage of a million loud shrill notes. The saddest thing was the little merchandise table, where he was selling his used strings (which he gets free via endorsement) for $10. George Lynch opened and was much better.

Most bands use dummy amps on stage cuz it looks impressive.. But I wouldn't put it past Yngwie to make damn sure they're all hooked up and cranked up to 11 lol

Insanely talented...Great raw tone...(other than that shitty sounding delay in the beginning)...But...Boring and it doesnt make me feel anything or really entertain me IMO. I saw Yngwie, Satriani and Vai on the G3 tour. Yngwie during his own set got boring real quick...Satch played every song Identical to the record..and Vai..I don't know how to explain...A creative genius with a sense of humor. Oh, and the where they all jam at the end sounded like shit cuz Yngwie didnt know when to shut up!

I'm going to say this to some of you blokes out there who always bash Yngwie. It's very simple, very direct, and truthful.
Are any of you ANYBODY worth caring about? Have any of you IMPACTED music? Do ANY of you carry endorsements?
I would encourage this to some of you yngwie bashers: Post something on here we can all see and criticize, otherwise, shut the fuck up and get over it. He' a rock star, chances are, you're not.

Yngwie, the pioneer of neo-classical guitar. No one else matters,(McAlpine, Moore etc...) because they are all imitators. I can still remember the first time I heard him. I might be too young and I missed Hendrix, but I still remember the first time I heard Eddie, and the first time I heard Yngwie. Truth is, I'm not really an adoring fan of his, but I remember his impact.

Appreciate Malmsteen for his ability if you can. He is the most talented guitar player on earth, if its too much for you to handle you can always put on Satch and cry with joy over his skills.

I saw him in the 80s when I was a kid. I was really impressed. Then I saw him in 03 or 04 and I it was unbearable. He was way way too loud for the club and I'm not sure if he actually played a single song. It was an endless barrage of a million loud shrill notes. The saddest thing was the little merchandise table, where he was selling his used strings (which he gets free via endorsement) for $10. George Lynch opened and was much better.

I wasn't there, thank God. Malmsteen can't even touch the level of skill of C.C Deville of Poison. C.C Deville will put any guitar player to shame. Malmsteen's ego is so big no one else could fit on the stage with him yet C.C Deville is better. Sorry folks, these are concrete scientific facts.
