Wow, I now feel Ok to rev up to 6 boxes. Any trouble with critters i.e squirrels, opossums, rats ?? trying to plan for such a hinderance before I plant alot of boxes
those scotch bonnets look a lot like jamaican yellow mushrooms. they're not that hot. want something truly hot? look for bhut jolokia peppers. those are from india. they sell them a lot on farmers markets. i'm growing to close to 30 varieties of peppers now.
Scotch Bonnet-type peppers are quite hot as you mentioned. However, you said that all the heat is in the seeds. That is incorrect. If rinsed, a pepper seed is not hot at all. The heat is caused by capsaicin, and it's concentrated in the outer flesh and in the inner placenta (white part inside) to which the seeds are attached. It's the part that's usually removed when peppers are cut up for cooking.
So anyway, thanks for all your videos, and keep up the good work in the new place!
