  • WOW!!! Beautiful lyrics!! Beautiful everything... A song from heaven itself!!! Praise the Lord!!! :D

  • Beautiful. Incredibly moving. My church praise band just covered this song and it moved me to tears. God Bless.

  • Amazing

  • very nice song

  • Sometimes you don't see a lot of versatile music in Christianity, although God is soo creative ,for example, observe all the different fish he put into the sea. So when you leave the sounds of worldly music there can be a void (you don't miss the words but, the sound) Gungor, I love the ecletic sound in this track. I am happy to see such a sound in the kingdom. The vibe puts me in the mind of Cider Sky (not a Christian band) Gungor, thank you for showing us another side of God's creativity.

  • I'm not religious by any means, and I actually consider myself to be agnostic. I have nothing against anybody that believes they have found the God or religion that speaks to them, but it's never happened for me. However, this song has awakened a spiritual side of me I thought had died. There is so much beauty in the world amongst the ugly and tragic stuff, and I admire whatever creative force was responsible for it.

  • @shelton705 rock on.

  • love this song. so much.

  • what kind of guitar is he playing?

  • @aquabat104 An Olson.

  • Sitting here, encountering the Holy Spirit listening to this wonderful song. Tears streaming down my face. Thank you Father for making beautiful things out of us!

  • Beautiful song!

Was it just me or was the Violin lady continuously staring at his Guitar / trying to avoid getting hit?

  • @GFroilan it's a cello, not a violin

  • haha i play this song all the time, i wrote a guitar part of my own for it, so my friend kyle thought i wrote it haha and i just showed him this and he was like why are they playing your song?!

  • Great song

  • God made man from the dust yea!! Hallelujah!

  • ogo

  • It is and Olson guitar, lots of well known artists play one, Phil Keaggy, James Taylor, etc.

  • what kind of guitar is that? ovation?

  • 'You make BEAUTIFUL things, you make beautiful things out of the dust. You make beautiful things out of us.' That is SO TRUE one of my favorite songs.

  • Thumbs up if you saw this video at Youth Convention 2011 in San Diego :D

  • Love this song more everytime I hear it! Possibly because God is glorified everytime it's sung!

  • Love that it's a xylophone, cello (bass?) and guitar

  • So this was uploaded on my 16th birthday. The day I got my first acoustic guitar. This is also the first song I ever played and sang in front of a crowd. There's some kind of sign there...

  • I love this so much

  • And that!.... was a beautiful thing. Wow.

  • this is song is a beautiful thing.

  • I wept at listening to this...really amazing.

  • It should be illegal for people to create music this beautiful. Just too freaking awesome!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG, everything it says is the truth. We are his prized creation, through out our ups and downs in life HE still makes us beautiful.

  • This song was played in church today and moved me so....to joyful tears, actually. Y'all are beautiful. God bless

  • Brought a tear of joy out of me.

    ~From your Friend

  • @Jpierce 238 blasphemy. If you yourself can't come up with something better than Shut up and quit hating. Gungor Rocks with originality.

  • @jonnyfender7 very christian of you. I offer an opinion and it brings out people like you saying things like this.. It's funny to me. I don't hate them, I dislike the song. That's all.

  • Thank you.

  • Happy to have a music ministry who regularly incorporates it in the contemporary service.

  • A previous negative comment about this song was thumbed down so much it's blocked, but they have a great point. This song might be beautiful because of the music and the singing but saying you make beautiful things out of dust 100 hundred times is not my idea of a good song.. A 5 year old can come up with better. Sorry if you don't agree.

  • @jpierce238 I disagree mate. You should really learn about music. each time they sing the phrase, its slightly different, whether by chord, the emphasized note, or power behind the voice and/or instrument. So that everytime, is a different impact. also, they alternate between the phrases of "you make beautiful things out of the dust" and "you make beautiful things out of us" the whole point is that dust is ugly, dirty, and overtime it just builds up and gets worse. God makes us beautiful.

  • @julicarole I agree, and I've actually been very involved in music for 10 years and understand why the song is popular. It is because of the chord changes, and the crescendo of the music that makes the song good in some people's opinion. And with the simple fact that they use that one phrase to make a hit song, I respect them for that. I just don't like it.. lol I meant no disrespect to them. I should have left of the 5 year old part....

  • @jpierce238 has a 5 year old come up with a better song than this???

  • @MrBogdanel No...

  • @jpierce238 Fair enough. I would agree that some of their songs aren't super-spiritual, despite the label, but this one is nice. But the message could be easily misinterpreted.

  • @Senshidayo I don't believe christian songs have to be "super spiritual". I believe the song is a nice song but I guess because of my background in music, I like to see more meaningful words in a song. I'm big on music so the song is very catchy... My kids were singing it around the house driving me nuts.. lol

  • This is one of the most incredibly beautiful songs I have ever heard! It is so amazing how simple and how profound it is. My heart just goes "yes" everytime I hear this song!

  • Love this song

  • Thank you for this Beautiful Song!!! You guys are awesome!!! thank you, thank you, thank you. This song, which I just love so much, came on the radio this morning when i was driving to work, after God had done a little bit of business with me.... God be with each of you and continue to bless you richly.... Thank you for sharing your beautiful music with us. My sentiments mimic cookiemomster08 below. thank you guys so much and THANK YOU GOD!!! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. I am trying to join my youth worship team, and practicing the ocarina without a thing to base it on is more than challenging.

  • 3 people can't make beautiful things...

  • @XwindmillX THEY WERE AT LAKEWOOD CHURCH THIS MORNING!

  • @hensien31 and it was awesome!!!!!!!! Isreal + Gungor =holy awesomness

  • P.S. I love seeing a husband and wife making God inspired music together!!!:)

  • God has always spoken to me through music but never before, have I ever felt a more intense connection to the Holy Spirit than through this song!!! This is by far, one of the best songs I have ever heard in my entire life. Thank you Gungor, for using your God given talent to honor and glorify His name. May He bless you all as much as this song has blessed me and so many others.

  • 3 ppl missed the like button :)

  • Such a great song. So simple words with an amazing meaning. We are so inadequate but God can use us for so much more than we could hope for

  • I lead worship at church this past weekend and we played this song. Everyone was SO into it. It's always great to see people on fire for Christ through worship, and you guys definitely take that to a new level with your music. By far my favorite worship band. Don't stop doing what you do. It's definitely bringing glory to God, and that's a beautiful thing!

  • i just listen to this song, close my eyes, and smile. god bless gungor! excited to worship with you all in heaven :) thank you

  • lol. It doesn't suck if it's beautiful!

My only complaint is that I can't always understand what they're saying. Maybe I need to listen to more Gungor.

  • All they're saying is "you make beautiful thing out of dust" pretty much sucks!

  • Love it

  • I offer my brokenness to my Creator for his healing and beauty. Thank you, Gungor.

  • Awesome! love that cello:D

  • 1 person isnt very beautiful

  • Beautiful

  • Sadly... the first time I heard this was at the funeral for a baby. His parents rushed to the front of the church and collapsed to worship while they grieved... it was profoundly heartbreaking, and beautiful all in one. I will never be able to hear this song again without whispering a prayer for the family of Triston Searcy.

  • Is Lisa playing the xylophone or the... cello?

  • @MRoneshotkill09 xylophone. pretty sure

  • webmovietube is the best place to watch movies onle for free..njoy

  • Woah, for a second I thought: "when did Rob Schneider learn to play guitar like that?!" but seriously, I love this! You guys totally deserved the Grammy. Gungor, ur a musical genius! This song is proof that you don't need keyboards or drums to create amazing contemporary songs. This def steps out of the box! Keep 'em coming Gungor!

  • Yeaahhhh there playing at our church toniteeee wooohoooo saddleback church!!!!!

  • woah 2:50 to 3:16 is incredible!

  • I actually like this version better than the recorded studio version.

  • I think I just got married to the girl with the cello.

In my mind, she is my wife.

Either that or I'm deeply in love.

  • I hadn't ever heard of Gungor until a few months ago when a guitarist friend asked me to listen to this song and see if I could adapt the cello part to be played on violin. I did, and we played it together at his church...ever since then, I listen to this song often, sometimes several times a day. I never get tired of hearing it and it always encourages me. Thank you for using music to show us once again how God can make beautiful things out of dust...even out of us. (:

  • i just got baptized to this song tonite!!! been a fantastic journey and i thank god everyday what hes done..i give my life for you lord!!! god bless everyone

  • Saw you at catalyst in Atlanta. Amazing song. Thanks!

  • Heard you guys at Catalyst in Atlanta.

    People were very moved!

  • I play violin so I get a lot of requests to play as a special guest at churches, especially when the worship leader wants to do a song like this that features a string instrument. So today I got invited to play this song at a worship service and had my first introduction to it (I play a lot of music by ear, so it's not uncommon for me to learn a song right before I'm supposed to play it, haha). I loved playing it and I love listening to it. The band blends together so beautifully!

  • amazing, love it

  • This is my new favorite band!! You guys were awesome last night @ the Fantastical conference & @ Common Grounds!!!

  • I love this acoustic version. Does anyone know if we can buy it somewhere?

  • where do i find a tab for this song??

  • I was at a camp where they played this song once. For the rest of the two weeks we were all together, nobody stopped singing this song. And the best part was that nobody knew the lyrics, and nobody got tired of hearing it.

  • Be patient. It takes time to cultivate you into that beautiful plant.

  • Check out this piano version :)
