hey i tried adding the rain effect and it wouldn't work. I did everything you did. like after I changed it to overlay, I did brightness/contrast to the numbers you said and dragged it to the rain video. but when I played it, no rain appeared?!?!!?!?

Oh yeah and one more thing... do you know if vegas pro lets you mask gaps? I know you can mask the outside but what about gaps? Do you know any solution of solving this problem?

@happyanimepeace gaps? like empty parts after your done masking somethin els. usually what i do is i mask what i need first. then i make a duplicate of the same clip put it above the same clip in a new track and then remask that clip on anything i missed. i think i undestand lol

Hello! I was wondering if you help me about masking fast moving videos, how can I mask fast moving videos without having to worry about those extra unmasked places showing up in my final product of the video after rendering. I mean, I don't see it in the vegas pro when I am editing the video and yet I see it in my finished product after rendering and it really frustrates me. Have you ever had this same problem? Is there a way to get that crisp clean look after masking your video?

@happyanimepeace i know what you mean i run into that sometimes and it can feel so fustrating and makes me feel like throwing my computer out the window lol. masking is really somethin that takes patience. because to be honest if u want to mask fast moving clips you really have to make sure all the keypoints you make are exactly the same. sometimes i take a photosnap of each frame that makes the entire clip and then mask it i have a tutorial on doing it.

@JILLAnimation i hardly every use that transition but if i want somethin to like be half opened when opening you can try cookie cutter. cuz with the barn door transition u cant really stop it i think or alter anything. with cookie cutter u might find the effect ur looking for

@immortalvegetto999 yes i put them seperatly makes it easier in case some dont want certain effects than a whole package. if u look at some of my tutorials i have provided several free downloads with effects and anime clips free to use. its okay dont worry about it :3

@immortalvegetto999 if u make alot of effects or are gonna i suggest using 10. they have a couple new features that are better. and the size of ur file all depends on what u render it as. i usally do wmv. but others pefer Mp4 format they say its faster and smaller. but its up to u. 720 Hd or 1080p agai up to u i like 720 renders faster than 1080p lol. vegas pro 10 is great u should try to get it
