I got baptised in Sept of 2010. Let me tell you, it'll be a experience i'll never forgot. i did not know what to expect. when my pastor put me down in the water & i came back up, i just felt this electical jolt all from head to toe. once we got back in the car this warm feeling came over me almost hot. i am happy i am walking with christ. this song by smitty is the perfect baptism song.  i played this going home after the baptism. it was awesome & WOW!!! never been the same since!

I agree with the free will. I just find it hard to believe that anyone in their right mind could willfully renounce salvation and get that far away from God. I am however under the believe that salvation can be thrown away but not lost by carelessness. I also don't know of anyone who has done that. I think you'd have to be out of your mind to willfully renounce it

you can't earn your salvation. All you gotta do is believe Romans 10:9 & 10. If you had to earn your salvation we all would be screwed. We are imperfect, the only Man that ever walked perfectly is Jesus. God doesn't expect us to be perfect and he knows we stumble he's not gonna strike you down because you mess up or stray he loves you no matter what its unconditional. It's by God's grave alone that we are saved.

In my opinion salvation can be lost, thats just my opinion, i know a lot of people say it can't and thats theirs. i try not to think about though and just try follow jesus footsteps each day, that way i know for sure ill go to heaven.

I think he did deny Christ in his heart. I think he was scared, and he did it to save himself from the turmoil at hand.

But, I think he realized in his heart what he did when that reminder crowed. And at that point, he repented. And he was forgiven.

I walk in this every day. But my old self was drowned in baptism and I became a new (wo)man.  And I confess every day. And I repent. And I'm forgiven. Every time. Grace always trumps sin because it's a gift purchased by Jesus..

0pkt0, I know your post is full of nothing but the best of intentions, but following rules as we do here on earth isn't what gains us the right to Heaven. We gain the right to Heaven if we believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for us on the cross, and that God the Father rose Him after 3 days. We enter into heaven through Jesus and by nothing else. Works cannot gain us access to Heaven. If they could then Jesus's death on the cross would be meaningless and grace wouldn't exist.

My best friend brought me to the lord in the summer of 2006. I went through alot at the time. After that i felt great. Still had some problems but god helped me through it. Its very nice that he beings you someone close to help you to get closer to god and well as a good ear. The problems don't seem so bad anymore. Just got to pray thru it and believe.
