First- the American people would never stand for a military take over of the US. However- if there is a crisis of significant size in which the existance of government and the lives of its citizens are threatened, then the government has a duty to act. The plans aren't to enslave the population but to enforce order so our citizens, and their 200-400 million fire arms (and who knows how many bullets) don't rip each other to pieces.
Taking our guns/weapons is to allow take over. It isn't just our military to be concerned about. I would never give up my arms.
