The hitch ups are not even in height so its no where near a fair comparison, the Chevy looks like its lifted a full foot and so the back of the runner is being plled up loosing traction and the Chevy is being pulled down gaining traction.

Just to clear everything up, I was the guy that filmed this and it was all for fun. The runner got parted out later on as it was a rustbucket. After a couple pulls the chevys center crossmember cracked and almost got ripped off lol. Also the 4runner had no brakes at the time.

Ive got a chevy tahoe with 250,000 on it and its still runnin strong. No tranny problems, replaced spark plugs, wires, thermostats and the radiator but thats all normal matinence. Runs like a beast and will still pull a 9,000 lb boat up a wet boat ramp.

FIrst of all that chevy is a huge truck and it probabaly has a 5.9 liter V8 and that 4runner probaly is just a I4 or a V6 depending on what year. So I say that the 4 runner is stronger compared in size and the engin. toyota frames crack just as easy as anything else i fixed more than a few of them.

chevy frames crack in the front by the steering box, which is an easy fix, drill a hole at the end of the crack, grind out fill with weld and reinforce the frame.
