This scene breaks my heart. Shane and Kim's love story was one that could have went on forever. They had a pure, true love between each other. They could easily been another "Tom and Alice" on DOOL. Hopefully one day the show will bring them back as older, more settled people and renew their love story. Daytime TV have done this for so many couples, it is not impossible that it could happen to Shane and Kim.

@1Dee45 I think U R rite, Dee. Days and soaps need a real shot in the arm to stay alive. I'd love to see the mature Shane and Kim re-enter the picture and perhaps, save the show from demise. It's a wonderful dream; wish it were possible.

@Nannyfan12 I think it was a pretty emotional scene for both of them. It marked the end of an era in their lives. I cried at end, too, Can't imagine either one of them with other people. As far as I'm concerned, they were the best super couple on daytime for a very long time. Thank God for THE NANNY.

As he kissed her, you could tell there was so much left unsaid--so many feelings not resolved. So terrible that their storylines ending with them going their separate ways. In my fantasy world, Shane moved to CA to be with Kim and their children, and they lived happily ever after. (Phillp never exisited).

Well I hate James E Reilly.If he was the goose that bought Josh T back to play Roman. I don't watch the show anymore since P&C left but obviously he's got no idea. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

I HATE THIS SCENE. I think Patsy & Charles were not only saying goodbye to KIm & Shane but to Patsy and Charles as well. They both had tears in their eyes and so did I.

did you know that James E. Reilly originally wanted Charles S, to play Roman Brady before it was decided that Josh T. was contacted, and JER wrote shane and kim out because he never liked them at all, when he wrote Roman out as well he did it because he wanted CS to play Roman instead of this so called "bored" character, LOL
