How often can one bear thinking about the depressingly bland effects of capitalism on the collective consciousness. The child abuse concept is a much more intriguing one, as is the eventual shifting gears into making all his art about abuse. I'll always remember seeing one of his pieces in a museum and the dramatic effect it had on me.
