Sporty's are a great bike. You can turn them into anything you want and the evo is bulletproof and easy to work on. I'm an oldtimer, been tearing mine down and changing it every long winter, 52,000 miles and not a hiccup, should easy get 200,000. Ride what YOU want, not someone else

sportsters are small, that is the intent.

Some people like bigger bikes, I like the vrod and it's heavier and bigger than the sportster (but smaller than a lot of cruisers). It's all about what people want not some absurd consensus on the ultimate bike.

Yes, there is a 2003 model. But unfortunately, it has no 1200 ccm, but only? 883 ccm. It could calm some have more power. Anyway, you can ebend not (yet) have everything, o). Gruß, Hanne
