I liked what CR said about Viki and Clint and that their marriage spoke for the institution of marriage. Apparently the producer at that time and head writer didn't receive the memo...... I was crushed when they destroyed that marriage!

@Debbyscats I totally agree, I actually stopped watching after that. Tuned in occasionally to see what was going on but fast forwarded any Viki scenes....until rather recently...what can I say? I'm still bitter..lol!

Wow, that seems so long ago!

This shows the vast difference between ABC and Procter & Gamble. When Michael Zaslow began to show signs of his ALS illness, P&G fired him from "Guiding Light". Here, Clint says how ABC told him he can keep his job, even if he has to say his lines from a wheelchair. Wow, amazing how shabby P&G was.

Who hired Michael Zaslow after P&G fired him? ABC, where he returned as David Renaldi on OLTL.

Now if only ABC would ensure that OLTL is not going to be cancelled.

Thanks so much, this was such a nice interview. I really miss Clint Ritchie, and Clint/Viki. Hearing him talk about ABC's support of him was touching. Talk about a bygone era.
