Yes, 6th and 1st string down to D, that´s how I play it, it doesn´t mean it´s the right way , but it sounds simmilar.

Ok ! you ONLY have to tune 6 th and 1st string on D They are usually on E,aren´t they?..Then, capo on the fret that fits you better to sing it.!

well well.... i have to tell you, your heart is into this one, and loved your open D tuning... great sounding guitar processor as well. i think jackson did that song in E and captured the sustainable feel tho i prefer your D thing. happening.

About the song.....If you play this song with 6th and 1st strings on D and capo on first fret,( as I do ) at the same time that the version on "SOLO ACOUSTIC VOL 2 ", you´ll see these could be the chords.Maybe in another version he ´s played in E..........try this one !!!

Awsome ...Very well sung and played ..recordable voice . But there is one thing I new when I heard you play the boxer, which was also excellent , and that is you felt the song as you played it and so you gave it life to the audience.... that is, in my humble opinion the key to a great performance and sharing of your talent . I grew up in the 60's and 70's and love acoustic music...none of those 70's guys (Denver, Taylor, etc) can touch Jackson Browne...bless you for the bold guitar in the footsteps of the master!

Oh, I am sorry that my words were difficult to understand. I meant that the reverb and delay made the guitar sound like air in the springtime and gave the solo parts a very strong sound. Many times it is difficult to make a good single string sound, but you did it very well.
