I LOVE this stretch of Utah. I also love the Burr Trail which connects to it between Capital Reef & Boulder.

we love utah, this sept will be our 4th trip from west texas & the 1st time to ride hwy 12

Thank You so much for posting this. I went to Escalante in Aug 2009 and I love Hwy 12. Im from SLC so in a way I feel fortunate to be able to live so close to the beatiful scenery Utah has to offer.
