  • Jeff, Eric here at Kempsville High School. I am feeling healed up enough to finaly get the finishing touches done on the 72 Dart. On our Dart we moved the leaf springs in with a kit from summit and now I am wheel and tire shopping. Question. If you didnt have to worry about the tire hitting the leaf springs and only the upper inner wheel well edge do you think you could fit a 10 inch rim under there? I guess that would be a 6.5 inch back spacing. Hows it look on your Dart? Thanks

  • also what kind and size are on thefront? thanks for your time

  • hello, what size of tires, and what kind of tires?

  • im having a hard time finding wheels for my 72 dart. Help!!!

  • @1000angers What do you need?

  • Those wheels would probably fit great with an inboard spring relocation and a slightly narrowed rear. It sounds expensive but you'd set set for the life of the car without cutting into it too much.

I love those A body Mopars!

  • Thats gunna be one sweet ride Jeff, nice work mate!

  • Looks Good James.. M/T's are good too. If ya roll at the track or street race, the tires likes 17 psi and no less. Check Autozone for a tire gauge. I'm using "Slime" and it goes to only 60 psi.

Neat seeing your car.. Keep up the "Great" work!

    Les

  • i love your videos.. im from west phoenix, and building my 1972 convertible(chopped top) monte carlo.. little by little.. i love the tips

  • Gotta respect the G body.

  • good stuff jeff.

  • Glad to hear from you.

  • Cheers Jeff.Thank you.

  • Ur welcome sir, glad u like.

  • all you need is a level table with a wheel hub that is level on a screw to raise and lower the hub the measure off the table to the top face of the wheel hub to get the inside spacing and you can do it your self wheel blanks are only cheep , just for shits and giggles chuck it on a wheel ballancer and see how it is with out rubber or weights no wheel is perfict as all rubber is shonky red and yello dots on the cheeper tyres indicat roundnes and indicates also how to fit the tyre

  • Cool that's good to know dude thank you.

  • I went with a mini-tub and spring relocation to fit my 15 X 10 steel rims on my '70 Dart. I had Wheel Vintiques make them. I went with the MT SR 26X12, 15's...nice combo just like yours, albeit just a tad bigger than you went with...

  • When I build my next Dart I'm doing the same thing. Unless of course I just back half the car and put some 15" wheels under there.

  • Good info man keep it going!

  • Hope it helps the next guy.
