I played Cryptic Passage before Plasma Pak, so when I played the Plasma Pak I was kinda disappointed. Cryptic Passage had some really awesome maps. :)

You can find the full version of blood from 486 games, it also includes mapeditor but not the cutscenes. :(

You can either download dosbox but it seems to work differently for everyone. Or you could throw down 50-100 bucks on ebay for an old windows 98 capable rig. Or dual boot your current system with windows 98 and xp/vista.

I believe the rights now belong to Atari. I doubt another sequel will ever be made. But they could atleast release the source code so that the blood community can continue to thrive. I don't know WHY they won't but until this day they're not giving it up. Even though the source code for pretty much every other build game was released ages ago. And since Atari is close to going out of business AGAIN. The future seems grim for the greatest game of all time.

GT Interactive had rights to Blood if i good remeber. When GTI died Nicolas Games bought them/they renamed to Nicolas Games. But at least we don't know if Atari or Nicolas Games have right. And about source code... I think Monolith stolen some code when they was making Blood ['cause there is source code for Blood 2, there was big campaing maded by Transfusion Game team called ReBUILD] and they're just scared as hell when anybody says ''source code for Blood 1''. hehe.
