  • So when I have put it on repeater mode, can i disconnect the TL-WA901nd from the computer and just plugg in the power cord anywhere in the house and it will enhance the signal from the router? or do I have to plug it in with the dsl to the router?

  • @Dr4gondice You can just plug the router with the power cord and it will work

  • Hi

i followed your tutorial but in the last step, (after setting the operating mode to router) ill loose my connection to the router and i cant access it anymore. The only thing i can do then, is to reset my router.

I only thing i changed was the password, i used a wpa pw

Do you have a static ip on your pc?

    And thx for the tutorial

  • Hi again

I could solve the problem with the lost connection.

I had to turn off the dnsmasq.

My Fritz Box 7390 does register the wr1043nd as i client but theres is no connection.

I have a connection with my Laptop (connected with LAN to the wr1043) instead.

And i still dont get an intercetconnection..

    king regards

  • @Dai240888 Yes, I had a similar problem, what you can do, is follow the tutorial again, but this time, try to change the IP first, then save and apply settings and restart router, keep saving and applying settings after changing each setting and it should work fine./

  • @zxda10gtf1

changing the ip first was always my first step though

and i did exactly like except for the passwords

im using wpa2 now in order to use wlan n

i do have acces to my frtiz box over air with my tp

it seems i can etablish a network at least

    but still no internet

    well ill try tomorrow again
