This is very sweet. And that rooster is beautiful. I'm so sad I had to re-home my Rhode Island Red roo. :( One of the downsides to urban homesteading, you can't have roosters.

I had pet chickens when I was little. They would sit on your lap contentedly like a cat. We didn't have a rooster though because we wanted to use the eggs the hens would lay.

I love the fact that the rooster didnt jump all over him to eat his food..I had a rooster for 6 years...and whenever he saw food or even look at me chew he will be jumping all over me to steal it. He would even try to take the food of my mouth...my chubby rooster...i miss him...he past away :(
