Unfortunately no, it's only for Macintosh.

It's not cheap, but there are some other programs you can use for Windows that cost less like Sony Vegas and stuff like that. I don't know the exact price but it can do overlays I believe.

oh okay I did have Sony Vegas on my old laptop but it broke it for some reason so I just use Windows Movie Maker, plus, I have new effects on it!

Yes! You can do awesome things with WMM too, and for iMovie you can't download new effects.

It all comes down to timing and if your clips match the song; it doesn't matter how cool your effects are~ :)

It wasn't hard to make in iMovie, but it's taken me a year to really use it. And Motion is pretty much very confusing. My siblings helped me with it. XD

Well, iMovie comes with iLife, so it should be on your computer...

But if you want to use Motion for more effects, it will cost a chunk. o.o;;

Er, well, Motion comes in a packet with Final Cut Pro; it's program that is used to make Hollywood movies.

So it's around $1,299.00 for the whole packet of Final Cut Pro, Motion 3 and Soundtrack Pro (sound editing program). o_o

But, I mean, I'm only using the most simple effects of Motion. It can do SO much more, I have yet to learn it all.

But you can do these kind of things featured in my movie with Sony Vegas and Ulead I believe. o.o
