We talking about facing MC in his prime not a decline Ghost of ODH. Manny facing him at 143 or 147 doesnt make the difference because he is facing a guy in his prime at a catch weight. Cotto already establish himself as an elite welterweight meaning he is confortable at that weight. While Manny would had to add 7 pnds of extra well balance distribute muscle. To do that without loosing an inch of his great elite skills takes and adapt in record time to beat an elite WW takes time. FIght at 144!!

The reason I put an emphasis on the weight is because at 147 is where Cotto is his best, he had trouble making below 147 and it affected him against both Corley and Torres. Manny has yet to actually weigh 147 for a fight (yes he fought Oscar at welter but he weighed 141 during the weigh in). Roach knows that Cotto, Mosley, Margaputo are all too strong and he's said during an interview that Manny won't fight any of those guys at 147 and he knows that Manny is giving up too much @147

Miguel Cotto is NOT Ricky Hatton: Cotto's speed is very underrated and his boxing technique is top notch (he outboxed Shane Mosley) and his chinthough he is vunerable, he took Margaputo's cemented fists for 11 rounds, plus Miguel can crack. I dont see Manny winning if the fight takes place at 147.

Judah is faster and hits harder than Manny. Shane Mosley is very fast too. Cotto can handle speed because timing ALWAYS beats speed and Cotto has good speed himself. Cotto destroys Pacquiao

Zab is fast, but manny is a lot more accurate now than Zab has ever been. Zab's problem was he's a head case and doesn't stay focused.

If Cotto and Pac were to fight, I'd give Cotto the edge, but in no way does Cotto walk through Pacquiao. Pac's got one hell of a punch for a guy his frame and size.

It's truly a fan's dream match that actually may happen.

yeah but pacquaio has beat the best light weights at 130. he beat marquez,morales, and barrera. then had 1 fight at 135 n won by ko then beat de la hoya at 147 n ko ricky hatton in the 2nd round at the weight of 140. pacquaio is better than cotto but cotto is too big for him. you dont c cotto name being mentioned to fight ppl at 154 or 160 but you c pacquaio being mentioned to fight ppl bigger than him, that should tell u who's better

actually pac was robbed my marquez during the first fight the judge had given 10-7 instead of 10-6 bcoze of 3 knockdown. manny just put marquez to canvass in rd 2 of the 2nd fight.!!! HOW COME MARQUEZ WAS ROBBED WHEN pac put marquez 4 times in the past 2 fights... unfair if marquez wins when he did nt even give his opponent a knockdown....
