Very beautiful voice, perhaps too much dark for the Baroque repertoire. But compliments for the agility of such a heavy voice. Who has ears he will have gathered the differences.
This voice might be just a tad bit too big for the role and it does not work for me. She could soften it up a bit so it wouldn't sound like she's singing Turandot here, but it looks like she has a hard time controlling her big sound. I would love her to hear her in big Verdi.
It's a concert, is not its usual role and as so many other great voices, she's tried to venture showing good agility for dramatic and technical ability. But it's usual repertoire is really the great Verdi.
Personally, I think if there were something to complain about at all, it'd probably be her tuning or the breaks in her legato. It would have sounded a bit less "like Turandot" if her breath was consistently connected, but honestly I don't think there's any point in criticizing. A lot of it sits in her passaggio, and it's not a role she's gonna sing anywhere, but it's probably an interesting technical exercise for her. It's certainly interesting to hear. Beautiful voice.
Patrizia, in this Aria shows her beutiful voice. There are some passages that have an "agilità" and strong sonority. I don't know other Sopranos with a large voice and similar "agilità"
bellissima voce, e anche potente, si sente più lei che tutta l'orchestra!
