  • tu resteras toujours notre grande chanteuse africaine et Béninoise I love you

  • I heard this song used in the Warren Miller film "...Like There's No Tomorrow". I missed the credit plate where the song is cited, but luckily between Wikipedia and Youtube I found it. It's a shame that Amazon MP3 doesn't have it available for purchase.

I agree, Ravel would be proud to have this as an adaptation of his masterpiece.

  • I adore this!!! What a lovely voice!

  • I am sitting here, scratching my head, wondering why someone actually pressed the dislike button? Poor hand eye coordination?

  • génial ! superbe !

  • No words to express my feelings after I heard this song... Speachless...

  • This is a welcome addition to a classic. Her voice is precious!! Your visuals are most welcome!!

  • This is a welcome addition to a classic. Her voice is precious!!

  • I am in love. An angel is singing!

  • lon lon va do, lon lon de ka.... the choir part rox! so hard to sing, but worth it!

  • Oh this is beautiful!

  • I feel my heart touch by a angel.

Nice to meet you, sweet Angelique.

  • Although shortened for obvious commercial reasons, as all recent renditions are, (the original was15 minutes) I believe this nicely reflected Ravel's original concept.

The slow steady build, and adding instruments (voices in this case) would have pleased Maurice.

I think he would have loved his music being alive 80 years after he wrote it.

  • That's a final great touch!!!

  • Bellísimo, gracias. From Quito, Ecuador.

  • merveilleux

  • Fierte de mon pays...proud of yu mama

  • Simply beautiful!!

  • I love her voice on this song....

  • The ruffling sound you hear in the background is Ravel turning in his grave.

  • @NLR884evr -, no, that's actually him pulling up his socks and getting ready to sand up in his grave and applaud. Music is not written as stone tablets. It is for changing, sharing, adapting. This is a heartwarming example of hat at it's best.

  • @jerseyjoe4good Yes, you're entitled to an opinion; so is a duck.

  • EPIC WIN

  • Etonnant !

  • Fantastic !!! thx

  • waka waka XD

Angélique's interpretation of the Bolero is the best vokal interpretation I've ever heard.
