Its a shame they got rid of this theme in favour of Ridley's for escaping. I mean, Ridley's is cool, but we've heard it before in the game and this is an exclusive GTFO! theme!

@PhazonPhantom The Original Metroid, Zero Mission and Echoes use this as the escape theme while Super, Fusion and Other M use Ridley's theme for escaping. The other Prime games don't have escape themes, at least endgame ones, and neither does Metroid 2. As it stands, each one is used 50/50. I wouldn't exactly say it was replaced with Ridley's theme.

I do prefer this one as an escape theme however.

The NES one wasn't the original. The Famicom Disk System was. The NES actually had that "hopeful" part as an extension.

Therefore, Zero Mission used a remix of the Famicom Disk System version.
