I want to publically apologize to the creep that called me a pampas ass hole or something like that even though he is the real a-ss for calling me a pampas a-ss hole
what a load of crap.i like how this video speks of the fear of death but christians think they got a free ticket to immorality through thier faith.soo isnt that actually not death?i think it is a crutch to soothe peoples fear of death and thier own insignificant place in this universe.
Wonderful video Jan. I felt very encouraged after watching this. God bless and strenghten your ministry Brother. May the Lord most high continue to instill His wisdom in you and give you peace. Shalom.
Well said! Too many 'ministers' put us Christians at the Great White Throne Judgment where the "wicked dead" - who died without Christ - are judged. Our fight is a "fight of faith" and not a fight over the law.
Funny how they never answered your question. This happens to me too, every time I ask something like that. They simply choose to ignore you like you never said anything...
In 500 years, when man will have (probably) steped out into the void of the universe and discovered many new life forms, intelligent or not, how will christianity deal with such realities? please dont tell me god will comme before that, its been 2000 years already
god will come when he wants to we don't know when he's going to come even the bible says that no one knows when the lord comes to get his people only the lord himself knows
for from your tongue you have spoke it! you mean it then Jesus heard you brother or sister for he is in us alway, and he hears us alway, know this he loves you and he waits for you to come to him now!
I have repented of my sins and I am a born again christian. I believe Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There is not one person on this earth that could ever make me believe anything different. I myself am not scared of judgement day. But, what bothers me more than anything, is when the day comes and Jesus ask me, What have you done to bring glory to my name..will I have the right answer? Have I done enough or done his works right? (continue)
Will he look at me and say something like, If you would have said this or done that you would have won more souls for me. I feel that we can not do enough for him and that is what bothers me. I do not want to be the reason someone missed out on heaven. I do not want to mess up on a job that the Lord has asked me to do.
That is what scares me. Being with Jesus forever does not scare me. Disappointing him is what gets to me the most.
Remember, rubrmouth, that all we can do is plant seeds for the Lord.
It is the Holy Spirit that saves...
Do not be so hard on yourself. Someday you will be amazed that things you said and never thought of again may have been the very thing the Lord used to bring this person to faith in Himself.
I'm starting to wonder, am I the only one who feels this way? I'm looking forward to being with him forever, but I don't know if I'm looking forward to his judgment. I'm trying real hard to remember that his love is more than I can imagine and he is pleased with me for knowing him. But, how will I be able to handle his judgment on me when it comes to my works?!?!
Hey, i am with you all the way on that. I fear that i have failed Him too. I found this video exceedingly encouraging, and i thank Ads4Christ for making it.
I think its normal for us to be concerned about this, because let's face it, the struggle with sin is a never-ending battle, and we are going to be dealing with sin til the very end.
We are never going to hit the slide.
Its going to be uphill all the way. I read Romans 7 and think, 'that was written by a mature believer'.
Thank you for understanding. It's nice to see I'm not feeling like this by myself. I also realized while reading your reply..this isnt me thinking this..it's satan himself putting these thoughts in my head...HE IS REBUKED!!!
I know now that Jesus is not going to hold it against me for not being perfect. I know he understands I will fail at times. But, he sees that I am trying to please HIM.
Oh, me too, absolutely. I love the fact that after Romans 7 the first thing Paul says in Romans 8 is "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus". Isn't that just the most comforting thought one could think?
Oh, Jesus loves us. Think of what He did for us: He will not ever abandon us, even though in this life we will never be the people we want to be. He knows how much we want to be more than we are, but he also understands that it isn't possible for us in this life.
"There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus". Isn't that just the most comforting thought one could think?
To answer that question...YES, YES, YES!!! That is the reason why I feel that I can breath again. That vise feels like it's been taken off of me. I honestly needed to hear all the words that you have said to me. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Plus, it was nice to hear the Holy Spirit tell me he's not angry at me just a few mins ago.
We must never forget who we are in Christ, its all about His righteousness and His love, which creates in us the desire to be people who are like Him.
I know there have been times i needed to hear the same thing, and it has been my very great blessing to have been the one to remind you who you are in Christ.
Thank you for blessing me so greatly!
Thank you Jesus for giving us the gift of loving and lifting one another up.
Of course there is no Condemnation in Christ, and though our works be burned up we ourselves will be saved (1 Corinthinas 3:15) Yet who wants to pass through that fire? If we serve God and write His Law on our hearts we will bear fruit for Him as He wishes.
In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.
I want to publically apologize to ADS4CHRIST. I acted in haste in my first comment. I realize now that it was disrespectful to accuse them, basically, for purposely trying to mislead us.
I am sorry. Although I still feel the presentation fell short, to a degree, the fact remains it got people to think. I hope they will forgive me and produce many more videos and presentations. May God bless their efforts and give them wisdom, grace, courage and strength.
No problem my friend! Theres nothing to apologize for. Respectful discussion of Gods Word serves us all. Besides, we will never all totally agree for, as the Word says, Now we see but a poor reflection (1 Cor.13:12). We must, of course, take an unyielding stand on Gods clear Word. But when it comes to prophecies, I choose not to be dogmatic (more below...)
To me, no matter if, or when, one believes a rapture occurs—before a 7 year period of peace then tribulationor right before the Armageddon (Rev.16:15 )—as I see it, Jesus spoke of only one Judgment Day (Matt.25:31-46).
Could I be wrong? Of course. Maybe there are two. But to me, dogmatic assertion that there are could be speculative, arbitrary and possibly based more on Left Behind fiction than on Scripture. Thanks again my friend! Youve stimulated a good dialogue! May God bless your week—your brother in Christ, Jan.
@Ads4Christ the seven year peace in israel has already happened from 2001 till 2008 ended when hezbullah made attacks and PUT NOW HAS REASON TO ATTACK ISRAEL SINCE ISRAEL KILLED TURKISH PEOPLE ON THAT SHIP ABOUT 9 MONTHS AGO
I wish you put as much time into reading the whole Bible as you do with bit's & pieces. I'm guessing your "Christian Science"? The video was well done, so you do not lose points for that, but for taking things out of context and twisting the Word to fit your personal preferecnce you lose points -as far as my rating sytems goes. I gave you 2 stars because I am feeling generous. I wonder; are you purposely misleading us, or are you genuinely decieved yourself. Please: Keep it in context-ok?
Please be specific my friend. I have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation about 25 times, and I continue to read it once each year. As for the context, tell us what is it about the verses I shared that you believe to be out of context. In any case, thanks for sharing your view. Christians should feel free to respectfully challenge one another, for God's truth is critically important. God bless you my friend.
You fail to specify JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST -vs- GREAT WHITE THRONE judgements. space is short for me to be more specific: refer to: ROMANS 3-6 (spefically 3:23; 5:12-15) 1 Jn. 1:1-2:2; Gal.6:7-8; 2 Cor.5:8-19; 1 Cor.3:10-19; Phil.2:12; Heb.10:28-38; Rev. 20 just for starters. I love you and I am not doubting your sincerity or zeal. I only point out that the video can be very misleading if you only give partial truths. I do not mean to offend, but you only give half picture & it can misled
Christians will not be judged for past transgressions but our deeds in the Body will judged and some will suffer loss.
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men" (2 Cor. 5:10-11)
"If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire" (1 Cor. 3:15)
I have been away, so am catching up on vids. Wonderful video. Needs to be taught. Yes, he blots out our sins! Its what we do with His name that we are judged on! Thanks for sharing!
