if you really feel you need vista, just get home premium. dream scene can be done with a simple video program like VLC and home premium has the aero feel and 3d flip. but i would recommend just using linux. its free.

mac could do that for years lol + everything else vista just now started to empliment...each time microsoft creates and update they simply look at what apple is doing and try to emulate it. Sadly enough they never do better. & before you lable me a win hater I have both ok been using pc's since childhood, the mac is just better.

both mac and vista are stupid for doing this,partly because this does nothing to improve your desktop experience and also because you could always do that with vlc player.

yeah you are right it serves no purpose just burns cpu...i used it for like a week back in 2002 or something just to show of to my pc looser friends. and mac didnt put it into the system there were external apps that allowed this. so no mac didnt waste their time on it if thats what you thought. win on the other hand has to inorder to cover up for missing usuble gui components-guess they are hoping shock value will bring in/keep customers

ok then, you started ok, but just went into pc slamming. jeez, stay on subject. my subject in general is that new things that OS's are doing is wasting hard-drive space, and slowing the CPU. In this sense, mac is actually the biggest offender.

oh and when i said "pc looser friends" im talking about the ones that aimlessly try to defend windows yet try very hard to make their machines run & look like mac (vista did it for them now tho) one of my friends skinned his whole gui, downloaded a dock and all the mac icons, etc for example.
