i have a question, i recently just bought the game, but does everyone needs to leave the psp on or sleep mode in order to go back where you left off in the game? Cuz if i turn my psp completely off, my game will set to the place where after I passed my last stage. but say im already in a gate, and knocked some enemies down, is there a way to save it so when i turn my psp back on i'm still in that gate? doesnt necessarily have to be in the middle of the battle. HELP PLZZ
@bassgasmask They are EX-points. Basically the EX-Gauge gets filled when you collect the dots and the powerups that sometimes spawn, allowing you to use finishers.
I don't know why people would prefer Auron over Yuna... She is perfect in this game, and she even got her sending scene during the EXBurst. She can't stronger as Auron is, but what about Tidus? He's stupid.
i personally think there should be a square enix game like dissidia except maybe a lil betetr for the ps3 n psp (hell maybe evn 360) with just square enix characters in general like characters from final fantasy kingdom hearts (tho only the original characters in the game sora riku kairi aqua etc) star ocean (preferably international) etc

@FainaruFantajiTen there's not as much skill involved as there is timing and analyzing your opponent's moves. there is a lot of strategy involved as well, and button mashing isnt really advised...if u just button mash, you will get your butt thoroughly kicked.
I only ever played Yuna in FFX-2 but i like her summoner I guess... Vincint Valentine should have replaced Tifa, he rocks. The EX could have rocked with him cuz of his werewolf form thing! But still, I only ever use Cloud anyways. Go FFVII!

@CouchBorn I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU. Cloud's an asshole, Zack should live and Cloud die. Zack would a LOT better than Cloud in Dissidia 012. I kind of mastered Cloud in Dissidia 012 because of his Omnislash lol. But i agree with Laguna being epic too. Specially because of his leg cramp XD

Yuna is quite a fighter if her Aeons are powerful. But what i don't understand is Tifa. Her attack suck badly, and i mean really bad. And how to use Lightning EX burst combo??
Follow the button combo that appears on the screen. The button combinations are random, so you have to follow it carefully or your attack won't execute with the full power.
@DarkeningKairi Though Yuna have qualities of a White mage, she is still a summoner through and through. She attacking with her aeons are pretty unique for a fighting game.
As for Aerith, yeah she's definitely out of place, but that's the reason she's only an assist character.

@XCrystalJuiceX In my opinion, if they made it gunner then it would make everything all complicated, as then you'd have to throw in dress spheres. What switch jobs mid-fight? All i have to say to that is Pointless, and over-complicating things. The way it is now keeps things simple, and i think it's better like this. i like it.
@XFuturisticLoverXx her summoner and gunner? on the same game with the same timeline? i may not own this game yet nor do i know its story but how would 2 yunas work in this game in the same timeline. Tidus is still alive so it would only make sense for yuna to only be a summoner. As for half aeons, she'll need to uses an aeons power for afew seconds. If she summoned the whole aeon it would be slow...the fighting styles in this game are fast paced

@XFuturisticLoverXx I would've loved them to have put Gunner Yuna instead, but they are going to have her gunner costume as DLC. She'll still have the same gameplay though. :( I read there was only half the aeon shown to save memory on the disc.
@ethereas3 But surprisingly Lulu (of all people, seriously? -_-) was the fastest character. Even faster than Rikku and Tidus, in terms of evasion at least. You would think being a mage would lead to slow speed, but even with all those belts and awkward clothing she can still dodge like a beast. They should have pumped her magic up a lot more instead. Would have been more appropriate ¬.¬

personally, when i saw them use this concept for yuna, i was very very impressed... it seems the natural option for a fighting game would be the gunner concept, but they stuck with the orginal one , very impressive
I think it would have been better if Yuna had powers from a dresssphere. Like switching into warrior for close combat and gunner for long range combat...something like that instead of being a Summoner. Her EX Burst would be her ultimate dresssphere, Floral Fallal. I mean, I'm just saying. The ability to summon Aeons is cool and all, it just seemed a bit more sense to me to be her FF X-2 attire.
@GigaBahamut I was thinking the SAME DAMN thing. I loved her X-2 look and I was thinking the Dark Knight dressphere for close combat rather than Warrior. And Floral Fallal would have been epic.

Observation. All the Aeons use Valefor's summon glyph.

hey i think i found a glitch at the theater it freaked me out for a min if u go to theater look through the cutscenes dont watch but jus look through one of the cutscenes wher zidane gets his crystals had moogles floating round him but the second time i looked at it they wer gone

i personly think this style of fighting is more unique and very elegant defently from the yuna i admired playing FFX

@XCrystalJuiceX In my opinion, if they made it gunner then it would make everything all complicated, as then you'd have to throw in dress spheres. What switch jobs mid-fight? All i have to say to that is Pointless, and over-complicating things. The way it is now keeps things simple, and i think it's better like this. i like it.

@XFuturisticLoverXx her summoner and gunner? on the same game with the same timeline? i may not own this game yet nor do i know its story but how would 2 yunas work in this game in the same timeline. Tidus is still alive so it would only make sense for yuna to only be a summoner. As for half aeons, she'll need to uses an aeons power for afew seconds. If she summoned the whole aeon it would be slow...the fighting styles in this game are fast paced

@Khrene Yes, as it stands now it's in my top 5 for greatest game ever, and being that I'm an RPG fan, and not much of a fighter fan, that's saying quite a lot.

@XFuturisticLoverXx like anima and sisters? don't think so those are hidden aeons and ya know some people may have played X but may not have run into those aeons so square may have thought of that and just used the aeons yuna would get in a straight play through.

@XFuturisticLoverXx I would've loved them to have put Gunner Yuna instead, but they are going to have her gunner costume as DLC. She'll still have the same gameplay though. :( I read there was only half the aeon shown to save memory on the disc.

@ethereas3 But surprisingly Lulu (of all people, seriously? -_-) was the fastest character. Even faster than Rikku and Tidus, in terms of evasion at least. You would think being a mage would lead to slow speed, but even with all those belts and awkward clothing she can still dodge like a beast. They should have pumped her magic up a lot more instead. Would have been more appropriate ¬.¬

personally, when i saw them use this concept for yuna, i was very very impressed... it seems the natural option for a fighting game would be the gunner concept, but they stuck with the orginal one , very impressive

I think it would have been better if Yuna had powers from a dresssphere. Like switching into warrior for close combat and gunner for long range combat...something like that instead of being a Summoner. Her EX Burst would be her ultimate dresssphere, Floral Fallal. I mean, I'm just saying. The ability to summon Aeons is cool and all, it just seemed a bit more sense to me to be her FF X-2 attire.

@GigaBahamut I was thinking the SAME DAMN thing. I loved her X-2 look and I was thinking the Dark Knight dressphere for close combat rather than Warrior. And Floral Fallal would have been epic.
