@colbys1234 You can knock the fireballs back with your sword, they'll hit the spider and cause some good damage. Just be careful to give yourself room because they explode. It also really helps if you can get behind the bastard because it has no real defense from behind.

you know... one thing i've noticed so far, is that this anime has no prolonged story line. it's like each episode is a different short story, with episodes having almost nothign to do with eachother.... a plot over the entire series would make this alot better in my opinion.

Actually, there is a prolonged plot, it is just concealed between the odd jobs that Dante ends up taking.

If you watch to the end the person who was the hotel keeper has a long-term goal. Though it's probably best to find that out on your own. :D
